I remembered what the manager had said earlier that day. His words had stayed in my mind for a long time after that. If this goes beyond a simple relationship like this… Would it come to that? He hadn’t said that when he gave Jaejoong and I permission to have a relationship. I remembered what I’d said last night. Always and Forever… Maybe those words held more meaning that I thought. Maybe my destiny with Changmin held more than I thought. Suddenly, I was excited to see what lay ahead for us. And not just me and him—for me and my whole family—my brothers. I wondered if there would ever be a time when they wouldn’t need me anymore. Then what would I do? But I had no worries about that. I had a feeling that now we were together as a “family”, we always would be. I didn’t want to be anywhere else in the world. One day in November Yunho and the group came to me while I was cutting fruit in the kitchen.
“They want to do a Christmas photo book for 2009.” He told me as I wiped my hands on a towel. “We each have to pick our favorite place in Seoul as a location. But they want six.”
He glanced at Yoochun and, as if on cue, Yoochun finished for him. “We want you to pick the last one.”
“You want me to pick your favorite place in Seoul?” I cocked my head, confused.
Changmin laughed and wrapped his arms around me. He always told me I was so funny and cute and always made him laugh. “No silly, we want you to pick your favorite place in Seoul!”
“Really? I’m so honored!” I thought about it for a moment, but I didn’t really need to. I smiled and answered, “My favorite place—in the wide whole world—is right here.”
They all smiled at me too and Changmin kissed the top of my head. That was how my life turned out right, even on bad days, it was right. Because I was with people who loved me, through every change of the heart. And I ended up with the one person who was meant for me. Together forever. Always and forever…
