"Get to know each other?" I question his insanity for a second. "The Quin Angelo wants to get to know a girl before he fucks her."

"Hmm, so your gonna let me fuck you later?"

"Most definitely not," I say, shrugging my shoulders. "What do you want to know?"

"For starters, why don't you like coffee?" I nod towards the smoothie she has.

"I do like coffee but it has to be all cream and milk with a drop of coffee." He nodded his head. "Do you want me to ask you a question now?"

"Why not?" taking a sip of his coffee.

"Favorite color? And if you say black I will 'accidentally drop this smoothie down the front of your shirt."

"Green, like a deep, dark emerald green. What's your deal with Cameron?"

I tense at the mention of his name after him basically harassing me this afternoon. "How do you know there's something with Cam and I?" I avoid the question.

"You threw a drink on him and your always arguing with him,"

"We just don't get along, you know." I try to keep eye contact and keep my face natural like I didn't lie. "Favorite hook up?" I ask to get the attention off of me.

"Mack." I scrunch my nose in disgust. "Why or how do you know Coach so well?"

"He and my dad are friends. His family is my second family like when Dad would go on a trip I would go to their house. Do any of the tattoos have a meaning behind them?"

"Some do, others don't, I'm like a blank canvas with random sketches drawn. What happened to your mom?" His short answers and fast questions make my head spin.

"I hate that question because I don't know. She just left, that's all I do know." I say a frown touches my lips as I chew the straw from my drink.

A silence falls over us, we just sit there looking at each other as if to figure everything out. "They seem happy."

"Yeah they do," he says and eats his sandwich.

I end up getting my notebook back and I start on some unnecessary homework. He casually taps the screen of his phone. It starts to get dark, I shove my stuff in my backpack and notice Quin standing up from his chair.

We walk out and go to our cars, "See you tomorrow Lil," he says winking at me. He speeds on not seconds later.

When I get to the glass place I'm greeted with the smell of food. I walk into the kitchen and find Linda moving around the kitchen.

"Hi hun, how was school?" I move to sit on a stool that's tucked underneath the island.

"It was school, I don't think it will change for another thousand years."

"I made your favorite, fettuccine."

"That made my day 100 times better." I smile.

She slides a plate in front of me and I dig in. The creamy sauce melts in your mouth.

"So why weren't you home earlier?"

"I went to the cafe with some friends."

"Friends? You have more than one friend, my little baby is growing up. Who are they?"

"Jacob and Quin, they are on the football team." she nods her head.

"Where's dad and his evil wife?" I ask after finishing off my bowl of pasta.

"They went out to eat."

"Oh," he has been home for 2 days and has made no move to talk to me or even tell me he's engaged to the evil witch. I've probably talked to the evil witch more than him in my entire lifetime.

Linda leaves after an hour of sitting in the freezing kitchen waiting for my dad, I head up to my room. From the bare walls and spotless room, you wouldn't be able to tell this is my room. It has none of my personality in it but quite honestly I don't even know how to describe my personality. Bitchy? Rude? How would you even put that on the walls anyway?

I walk into my bathroom and stand in the shower with the warm water pelting at my skin repeatedly making that area feel numb. Pulling a large t-shirt over my head I climb into bed. I lay flat and stare at the ceiling.
