The TV was loud in the living room playing some show my sister is obsessed with at the moment. My head pounds, I didn't drink much last but I still feel shitty. Every time I close my eyes I see the strobe lights.

I drag myself out of bed and into the bathroom, I run a toothbrush over my teeth several times then hop into the shower. The warm water pelts my skin, soothing me. I grab some discarded clothes off the floor and slip them onto my body.

"Can you take me to my friend's house later?" Katie asks.

"Kat, I don't really like you enough to do that." I give her a fake smile, grab my keys and leave, slamming the door behind me.

"Asshole," I hear my sister yell.

The drive to Lil's house is short. Parking in the extensive driveway I walk up and knock on the wood door. Not even a few seconds later the same lady from before answers the door.

"Lilly is in the kitchen." she smiles, letting in.

I walk through the house, careful not to ruin anything. Everything here looks like a museum and like nobody lives here.

"Hey." my voice is barely above a whisper.

Lil turns her head to look at me, she looks tired and not like her usual self. I stand opposite of her.

"What are you doing here?" her voice comes out raspy.

"I came to make sure you were ok."

She doesn't respond.

"Are you ok?" I'm concerned.

"No."

"What's wrong?"

"Everything."

I feel lost because just last week, we were having fun at the beach.

"Lil, talk to me," I reach over and grab her hand.

"How was the party?"

"It was a party."

She's silent for a moment, "did you fuck her?" her words come out soft.

"What?" I ask, stunned letting go of her hand.

"You just want to complete this list, you don't care about me or anyone else."

"You're not wrong, but I do care about you."

"I'm ok, I promise you. What do we need to complete on the list," she changes the conversation and I'm kinda grateful for it.

"There's a lot."

"What's something we could do right now?"

"We could fuck," I smirk.

She rolls her eyes but a smile plays on her lips. "How many points do we have now?"

"I dunno maybe 500? I mean you skip school a lot so."

"How about a prank on the school."

"What were you thinking," I lean my elbows on the counter.

"TP it?"

"Nah, that's amateur."

"Ok, then what do you have in mind?"

"We change everything in the school," she looks confused so I keep going, "we take out the desks and put them in the halls, take the chairs and put them in the gym, stuff like that."

"Ew no." she wrinkles her nose. "How about graffiti?"

"We prank the school not to vandalize," I don't want to be caught and thrown off the team.

"I didn't know you were such a baby."

"How about we change students' grades, something small and that can be reversed."

"Ok that might work," she smiles while slowly nodding her head. "Meet me after school Monday at the cafe. We can do it then." With that, I leave her house.

Monday after school rolls around and I walk into the cafe. The smell of coffee burns through me. I find Lil sitting in the back of the shop with her eyes glued to the computer.

"Have you figured out a way?" I ask, sliding into the booth next to her.

Our only problem with changing grades was that we needed an admin's password.

"Yeah I got the assistant principal's ID," she types away at the computer.

My eyes roam around the store landing on people from school and others that aren't.

"Here you can start," she slides the computer to me.

I start changing the various student's grades, some to 100's, others to 0's.

Passing the laptop back to Lil I watch her do the same. She presses save and now we wait.
