•Castiel's POV•
My heart beat a thousand times a second. I've managed to avoid him for so long, and this day was going great! Fuck my life!
"What's up? How ya been?" Casey smiled like he's not a rapist.
I grimaced, "Oh, just fine. Considering."
Casey sighed. "Uh, yeah. Glad to hear you're...okay," he smiled fakely, "And who's this?"
"This is Dean," I introduced him, "My boyfriend and long-time consensual sex partner."
Casey gave me a hard look.
"Wait, this is Casey?" Dean asked angrily, "As in...the Casey?"
"Yes," I confirmed, "The one I dated before you. The one who raped me."
Casey stepped forward, "Now, hold on! Raped? That's absurd! I just--"
"You just forced yourself inside me while I begged 'no.' What's that called, Casey?" it was all spilling out now, I couldn't stop it, "Rape. That's what."
Dean stepped ahead of me and planted a hard punch to Casey's poker face. I gasped, "Dean--!"
Dean kicked him right in the nads, "He deserves this, Cas! He deserves to die, actually, for what he did to you..."
He whipped a switchblade out of his pocket and flipped the blade out. "You are scum," Dean glared at Casey, who was sprawled out on the ground, "You deserve to die, so you're gonna die."
I grabbed Dean's shoulder and yanked him back, "Dean! You can't murder him! You'll go to jail!"
He didn't even seem to hear me, he just pulled away from my grasp and gripped the handle of his knife tighter. Casey whimpered helplessly as Dean bent down and held the blade to his throat. I thanked God the beach was empty.
"Dean!" I tried again, pulling him away from Casey.
"Why are you protecting him?!" Dean yelled, "He-He hurt you! Just let me slice his throat!"
"No!" I held his shoulders, "I'm not protecting him, I just don't want you to go to jail! You punched him, and you kicked him in the jewels. He gets it. Now calm down."
Dean fought against my hold, but I wouldn't budge. He made another attempt, jerking his shoulders and arms to try and get free.
I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen, and my eyes widened.
"Oh--" Dean gasped in horror. I looked down at his hand, clasped around the handle of the knife he stabbed me with.
"You...you stabbed him!" I heard Casey yell as I fell forward into Dean's arms, limp and in shock.
"It'll be okay Cas," his voice was cracked with guilt and worry, "You'll be okay. Rapist, make yourself useful and help me carry him...!"
The last thing I felt before I blacked out was my body being lifted off the sand and carried toward Dean's car.

"Gabey, when is mama coming home?" I asked worriedly. Gabriel played with a small curl in my hair and smiled down at me.
He hoisted me onto his lap, "Honestly? Not soon. But don't worry about her or dad, you have us. You have me."
I hugged him, my tiny hands barely making it around his waist, "You're a better dad than daddy is."
"Cas...Castiel, for God's sake please wake up...please..."
I heard Dean's voice, fuzzy and jumbled up in my head. My ears were ringing. The light was too bright as my eyes opened. "Dea--?"
"Cas?" I could see Dean's blurry shape seated beside me, "Oh-Oh my God! Cas, thank Jesus you're okay--!"
My mouth was drier than a popcorn fart. "Wa-Water..." I croaked, "Water. Get me w-water..."
Dean grabbed the cup of water that was conveniently placed on my bedside table and helped me drink some. "Cas, I'm so sorry," Dean wiped his eyes, "I didn't mean to, it was an accident I swear. I'm so glad you're okay...!"
"Dean," I grabbed his wrist, "It's okay. I understand, I forgive you."
"Two stab wounds, practically in the same place," Dean chuckled, relieved, "And you survived. I'm so proud of you, how strong you are--"
"Don't," I sighed, "Don't give me that. I'm not strong, I'm just lucky. Very lucky. I am definitely not strong."
Dean looked at me glumly. "I'm still proud of you," he whispered, "And I still love you. And I am so sorry--!"
"It's okay," I smiled assuringly, "I don't blame you. You kinda...spazzed out back there and I got in the way."
Dean looked down, "That tends to happen. Anger issues, maybe. Anyway, I get...violent outbursts sometimes, ones that I can't control..."
"As long as you don't kill me," I joked.
Dean stared at me, appalled, "If I killed you, I'd kill myself! I'll never hurt you Cas. Never."
He kissed my forehead sweetly. "I know you wouldn't," I smiled, "Now, am I okay to go home?"
**This chap turned out horrible.
Please forgive me for lack of quality. It's 2:15 a.m. but it was high time this chapter was published.
SO if you go back to Chapter 57, I changed the name. I decided I wanted to save the song "A Thousand Years" for something a lot more...special...down the road.
So now it's "Chapter 57 - Song For Someone". Yes we've already done that song. SONG SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED BECAUSE I AM CLEARLY RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS.
Soooooooo heads-up! BIG PLOT THING in not the next chapter but the chapter after that. You'll have to excuse a big time skip though. Can you do that? Thanks :3
By the way, you're probably concerned about this scene:
"...my mouth was drier than a popcorn fart..."
SHUT UP it's a Texas saying.
