"You just talked to him three minutes ago," Emily clarifies.
Oh, they're talking about Shawn. Wait, why him? What the hell is going on?
"Why?"
"Oh... You'll know..." Emily mischievously smiles, rubbing her hands together.

Alice makes it her personal goal to escort me all the way to the auditorium, and pushes open the heavy doors. Surprisingly, it is well lit, and Mrs G is actually on the stage looking through her clipboard.
"Oh Jasmine!" Her tuneful voice rings through the air, recognising me. "I assume that this is the reason why Shawn asked me to reserve the auditorium?"
"I'm still not too sure what's going on," I awkwardly said, slowly walking in. Alice shuts the door, but I can immediately tell that she's running up the balcony to witness everything.
Mrs G waves over Shawn, who appears from the side of the stage. I jump up onto the higher platform, and start fumbling around with my fingers as I wait for Shawn to tell me what's going on. Mrs G runs off backstage to go check with the sound system, which conveniently leaves us alone.
"Listen," he starts off. I can tell he's just as nervous as I am. "I know you and Alexis have known each other for quite a while... So I was just wondering if you could help me with this. And I know that you two aren't exactly on the greatest terms, so I totally understand if you don't really want to..."
"Yeah sure, what's up?"
He exhales. "I don't... I don't know why she's acting so erratic... At first it was tolerable, and manageable and completely fine, but lately she's just become so on-edge. Snapping at all of her friends, trust issues. I thought that I liked her, I thought that she was just misunderstood and underneath it all it was good. I believed that for a while, but now I'm not sure anymore."
"And you need my help how..?"
"I think that Alexis and I can't be together anymore. She got into a fight with me yesterday because I took too long to answer her text. Which I replied to in five minutes."
"That's very... Interesting?" I say, trying to not say anything negative about Alexis. As much as I dislike her, I don't want to get involved in whatever boy drama she got herself involved in."
"I also think that she's seeing somebody else," Shawn shrugs. "So... she's probably cheating on me."
By now, Alice has made her way onto the balcony, and is watching us very intently. She cups her hands together, and starts yelling very loudly. "BRO I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO CONFESS, NOT SHOWER HER WITH YOUR GIRL DRAMA!"
"What?"
Confess..? Oh, hell no.
It's not that I don't like him back, because I do. But, I'm in a relationship with Luke. And lately, he's actually been growing on me - and I can feel myself returning my feelings to him. I won't lie, but every time we talk I always feel insanely giddy on the inside, which is a new feeling.
"I-i don't like her in that way!" Shawn screams back, "and why are you even here in the first place? I told you this was private!" He blinks an abnormal amount of times, fidgeting nervously around with his hands - his cheeks red from embarrassment. "Go away!"
"ARGH I'M SORRY JASMINE!" Alice yelled, using her hands. "IT SEEMS HE'S STILL A LITTLE SHY, YOU CAN GO NOW." Alice runs off the balcony, dashes down the stairs in record time. She runs up to the stage, roughly tugs my hand and starts to drag me out of the auditorium.
"Wait I was lying I actually do li-" Shawn calls out, but I don't get to hear the end of his phrase. Alice shut the door very loudly, and ended up shattering Ms Smith's new blue nail polish - which she replaced from the fire alarm incident.
Apparently, the specific shade that she likes is very hard to make and takes many weeks to ship out. Lorelei wanted to get on Ms Smith's good side on her birthday last erm, and Ms Smith threw a hissy fit and dove into a huge lecture about the chemical formula of nail polish.
It was possibly the most boring science class I've ever been in this year. However, it seems that Lilac was the only one who was really paying any attention - she wants to be a nail technician now. She came to school today with hot pink nail polish, and she didn't do a very good job of applying it either. There were dried pink stains messily drawn all over her hands and fingernails - and within ten minutes of entering the school premises she was banished to detention by Ms Gob.
"Stop dragging me," I whined. Alice finally lets go of my bruised hand, and I scowl as I rub it. She led me all of the way to the school's front entrance. "Also, what did you mean when you said he was going to-"
"Nevermind," Alice nervously cut in. "You'll find out sooner or later. Anyways, want to help me print more posters..?"
"W-WHAT?!" I shrieked, "OF COURSE I DON'T!"
"Oh... Well, I'm going to go print some more... ByeEee~" She grins, holding up a peace sign. She skips off down the halls back to the printer, and I angrily chase after her - flailing my arms up.
"GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!"
Shawn POV
"Wait I was lying I actually do like you..." I say, watching as the door closes. I sigh in annoyance, I was a bit too late. She didn't hear me.
God dammit. I slap myself in annoyance, and apparently the slap is so loud Mrs G runs out from backstage to see what had happened.
"What happened to your face?!" She shrieked, "it's all red! Who did this to you?"
I lazily grin, waving her off. "I did it to myself, I kind of felt a little tired."
"Oh, so you did it to wake yourself up?"
"Yes," I lied.
"Well, if you really are that tired, you should have a cup of coffee. Personally, my favourite is a cappuccino because-"
And I've officially stopped listening to what our coffee addicted, cosplaying maniac director/English teacher has to say.
