"Thanks Alice," I thanked. "Thanks for telling me this, and helping me."

"No problem," Alice smiled. She takes her phone back from me, "but I believe now you need to have a talk with somebody."

My fingers shake as I contemplate on whether or not I should actually text Tina about it. It wasn't as if she was actually going to reply, was it? Claudia sits next to me, though she's mostly focused on reading and taking notes from her law book. She's surprisingly really good now, though whenever she finds herself in a pickle on Saturday mornings she sometimes will make up some random law that doesn't make any sense. My mother isn't so heavily biased anymore, but I still haven't won a single 'case' against her.

"I thought you were going to send a message to Tina about her talking behind your back," Claudia absentmindedly says. Her eyes are still focused on her work, "are you actually going to ask her?"

"Should I?"

"That honestly depends on whether or not you want to."

"I guess... I'm sort of conflicted, I also got a note from somebody threatening me... They said I would suffer consequences if I didn't stop my campaign... It wasn't from Alexis, so I think it could be from either Tina or Amelia... What do you think?"

"Somebody threatened you?"

"Yeah, they stuck a note on my locker."

"Can I see it?"

I take out the crumpled pink note, and hand it over to Claudia who examines it. Her eyes squint.

"I don't recognize the handwriting..." Claudia slowly says, "Tina wasn't the one who planted it."

"Can you recognize Tina's handwriting?"

"Yes, I can. This isn't hers, well, at least - she didn't write it. It's probably somebody else..."

"Do you think it could be Amelia?"

"It's possible," Claudia shrugs. "I've never seen her write anything before, though. I'm not quite sure." She peers over at the message that I've been dreading about sending, "just send it to Tina already. It's not like you and her are friends anymore, you deserve at least an explanation as to why she did that."

Me- Hey... Basically, I know what you said about me with Amelia... I was just wondering whether or not you really meant the things that you said..?

I hold my breath, waiting for her dreaded reply.

Tina- What are you talking about?

Me- I know you aren't the biggest fan of me, I know what you said about me. I was just wondering, why would you do that?

Tina- Isn't it obvious? Because I don't like you anymore. You're toxic, and you're horrible for my mental health.

Me- Is that what you really think of me?

Tina- yes. I hadn't even realised until somebody pointed out how one-sided our friendship was. You're a bad friend.

Claudia scoffs, "well that's rich."

Tina- You barely pay any attention to me anymore. We don't have as much fun.

Me- We both go to different schools, and you and I both know that I try to find as much time as I can so we can continue being friends. I've repeatedly been trying to contact you for the past month, yet you refuse to contact me back and you don't even give me a good reason as to why.

Tina- Whatever. I don't care.

Me- Also, was it Amelia who sent me that note on my locker?

Tina- What note?

Me- The note telling me that if I didn't end my campaign, I would have to face the consequences?

Tina- Huh... I guess you aren't as stupid as I originally thought that you were. Yes, it was Amelia who dropped off that note. And if you don't end your campaign, you will regret it. You don't deserve to be happy, not when you've caused everybody so much pain and suffering.

Me- I'm so confused as to what I've done... I'm not even sure what I did... Nobody will tell me, how can I fix it if I don't know what's wrong?

Tina- That's something that you need to figure out. Alright, I'm done talking to you. Goodbye.

"I'm so confused..." I softly say to Claudia, who says nothing but wraps her arms around me in a comforting hug. "I don't even know what I did to her, I don't even know what I did to anyone."

"It's okay," Claudia comfortingly says. "You did nothing wrong, it's fine. Whatever these consequences are, I'll take care of them. Alright? Just be happy and move on, it's obvious Tina was never really your friend."
