Chapter 52

Calum's POV.

I get out of the shower and dry myself before putting boxers on. I haven't spoken to Luke since the bathroom. I know I should discuss it with him but I just don't want to make him sad because of me. I walk into my bedroom and climb under the covers. We're leaving tomorrow. We'll be living in a bus for half a year.

I'm about to sleep and hear a door open faintly and a door close. My blankets shift around and an arm is wrapped around my waist. It's Luke, isn't it? Well, I guess I can't ignore him forever can I? I feel him place gentle kisses on my neck and I push my shoulder down a little so that he has more space.

"I love you Calum." He whispers.

"I love you too Luke." I say and I feel his muscles relax. He thought I didn't love him anymore? What the hell?

I finally drift off into a peaceful sleep.

Luke's POV.

Mom cries and kisses me for the hundredth time as I get on the bus. I smile and wave at her as I get on the bus. Ashton, Michael, Calum and I all look around the bus. It's amazing, even if we've already seen it. We dibs which beds we want. Ashton and Michael are sleeping on the top bunk and Calum and I on the bottom ones.

Our ride is apparently going to be fourteen hours and I'm so excited because I love long rides. All the boys wait for me in the lounge and switch some FIFA on. Wow, it's funny. I remember when I was too scared to talk to Michael and when he temporarily hated me. We all have quite a lot of history don't we?

I sit on my phone and see how many followers I've gained on Twitter.

"Knock knock." I hear and look up to see Leo.

"Get the fuck out of here." I say and look back down at my phone.

"Hey, I'm just giving you a new lip ring okay so trust me." He says opening his palm to reveal a new black lip ring.

"The last time I trusted you, you fucking raped me." I spit and he sighs. "Why did you even sign up for this job anyway? Do you want to ruin Calum and I because that's not going to work." I say and Leo sighs.

"Look, I only came here because I was looking for a job that would get me away from my house. Now take the godamn lip ring so I can fucking leave!" He shouts and I take the lip ring and he instantly leaves.

I walk into the lounge and sit next to Calum as I adjust my lip ring.

Calum's POV.

I watch as everyone plays FIFA. Wow, we've actually come really far. The bus suddenly starts moving and we're all excited as fuck even if it's dinner time right now. I've explored the beds properly and the windows are black on the outside and you can see the outside from the beds. But of course, there's a button that somehow magically makes it go black.

We all decide to finally go to sleep. There aren't any showers in here but we're not too bothered. Michael's ranting to Luke about it while Ash and I prepare for bed. I go into my bed. I'm calling it Calum's Cave from now on actually so scratch that, I go into my cave and say goodnight to everyone before closing the curtain and look outside the window. I see some people staring up at our buses.

They're probably wondering what celebrities are in here. Are we even famous? We probably aren't. I click the magic button and shut my eyes. Tomorrow is a huge day. It'll be our first concert and all we can really do is sing covers while we work on Unpredictable.

I can't seem to sleep. I sigh and grab my phone. Luke has texted me just now.

Lukey: you up??

Me: Yea :(
