Luke's POV.
I opened Calum's window to see him right where I left him. I knew he was slowly waking up because he kept moving. I sat next to him as his eyes fluttered open. He groaned and put a hand on his head.
"Regret drinking last night yet?" I asked.
"What?" Calum asked.
"You drunk to sleep last night. I came to help you." I said.
"Alcohol is a devil." He said and looked around the room.
I took some water out of a backpack I brought with me. I opened it and handed it over to him. He swallowed half the bottle down. I grabbed some medicine and he swallowed that down with the water too. I climbed in be next to him and put and arm around him as he sat up.
"You're really cold." He said.
"Well it's your job to warm me up then." I answered with a smile.
He blushed slightly as he cuddled into my side. I swept his messy hair to one side and kissed his forehead and a huge smile appeared on his face.

Calum's POV.
We were back at school and I was at my locker. I opened it and a note fell out.
'Go kill yourself'
Sadness filled my body. Someone actually wanted me to kill myself? I sighed and threw the piece of paper on the floor, trying to ignore it but failing. Luke soon walked up to me when he realized I threw the paper on the floor.
"Just ignore it Luke." I said.
Leo suddenly came from nowhere and grabbed Luke's hand.
"Put the note down Luke. I read it earlier and it's really mean." Leo said.
Luke raised a brow.
"How would you know that Leo?" I asked.
Sadly, that what I wanted to say but instead I said, "You know?"
He sent me a random deadly glare before tugging Luke along.
"Sorry Cal, I'll see you at lunch." He said with a smile before walking off with Leo.
Let me repeat that, before walking off with Leo. I felt a pang in my chest of jealousy, sadness and loneliness.
"Luke's beginning to annoy me. He's starting to hang out with those popular people." Michael said from behind me.
"Yeah." I sighed and swung my backpack on my shoulder before walking to class with Michael.
In class I couldn't help but think about Luke. He was getting pretty popular and was beginning to ditch me. I was supposed to be happy for him, not annoyed at how popular he was. Maybe it was just because how rude some people were being to me. I tried to ignore it but I could almost feel people staring at me in class.
I tried ignoring everything in life by listening to the teacher.
"So the Romans basically invaded most of Europe and a bit of Africa. If you turn to page 387 you will see how they were such an interesting group." The old lady blabbered on.
Okay, I was NOT listening to the teacher. I turned to page 387 anyway and realized I was the only one who did.
"Thank you Calum Hood for actually TURNING THE PAGE!" the teacher shouted and slammed the book down on to the desk making everyone jump and give me dirty looks.
Fine, I guess listening to the teacher doesn't get you anywhere either. I didn't know what I was doing wrong, I wasn't even listening to the teacher anymore and people were still glaring at me. Someone threw a piece of paper on my desk.
'Well done asshole'
I put the piece of paper in my bag, ignoring it by listening to the-- no, I've learned my lesson. Don't listen to the teacher or everyone will hate you more.
The bell soon rung and I waited for people to leave and I soon left only to be stopped by the teacher.
"Thank you for listening Calum. Not many people listen to me." She smiled and I smiled slightly back before leaving the room.
The next class whizzed by and it was soon lunch. I sat down with Michael and he was strangely not talking or eating. He was staring at something. I looked over at where he was staring and saw Luke laughing with those popular footballers.
"Fucking player. He was our friend." Michael mumbled.
"He'll come over, I'm sure he's just there to talk about stuff from people in his class." I said, trying to convince myself more than him.
Ashton soon came over and sat across us. He saw us staring and looked back and Luke was talking now.
"The hell?" he said.
We continued to talk and Luke seemed like he wasn't going to come anytime soon. Michael kept staring at him while Ashton and I spoke. My hope seemed to get less and less as the minutes passed.
"Okay, he isn't coming anytime soon is he?" I said.
Michael stood up but I grabbed his arm.
"Michael, no violence." I said.
Michael slowly sat down and he frowned slightly before turning back to Ashton and I. The bell rung and Ashton, Michael and I put our trays away and walked out the cafeteria together. Luke soon caught up.
"Hey guys, sorry, I lost check on the time." He said.
"Oh it's fi- ow!" Ashton shouted as Michael hit his stomach.
"Michael? Are you okay?" Luke asked.
"The concern is real." He whispered over to me sarcastically.
"Calum?" Luke asked.
"Just... stop ditching us Luke." I said and walked away, leaving Luke as Michael, Ashton and I walked off.
This wasn't the first time Luke's ditched all three of us. We didn't even see him at school yesterday. Thank god it was Christmas break in two days. But I was scared, a lot can happen in two days.
