Luke's POV.

I wake up to the sound of pounding on the door and I feel Calum jolt awake.

"Calum! You have school!" Joy shouts and Calum motions me over to the bathroom and I run and hide inside but leave a tiny crack.

"Calum Thomas Hood!" I hear and a door opens.

"Mom, I just came back from the hospital do you think I'm fit to go to school?" Calum says and I almost faint over his morning voice as Joy sighs.

"Alright. But I want you to go tomorrow, okay?" She says and Calum probably nods.

The door closes and i leave the bathroom.

"I should probably go now." I whisper and Calum sadly nods. "I need to get my lip ring anyway." I chuckle and he laughs slightly.

"Oh by the way--" the door opens and I freeze.

Joy just came in while Calum and I are in our boxers and about to kiss. Shit. Fuck! She's a homophobe isn't she?!

"C-Calum? Luke?" Her voice quivers.

"Mom, it's not what you think it is." Calum says.

"That's why Luke was always visiting you. You're a fag aren't you?!" She shouts at Calum and he looks hurt. I want to stick up for him but am kind of extremely scared to.

"You're just like your father!" She shouts and he looks away. "Don't look away young man!" She screams. She seems to have forgotten that I'm here.

He looks up and she walks over and slaps him right across the face and she looks ready for another blow but I stand in front of him.

"Stop. Yes, your husband left you because he was gay, but Calum didn't ever leave you. He's gay and he isn't leaving is he?" I spit and she stares at me in disgust.

"He is going to leave because... I'm kicking him out of here." She says crossing her arms and Calum and I both gasp.

"No! You can't just leave him on the streets!" I shout and she doesn't seem to listen.

"I don't care. Get the hell out of here." She commands.

Calum pushes me to the side and looks at his mother straight into her eyes and says, "Fuck you."

"Well you can't do that can you because you're too much of a fag to." She spits and Calum holds up his middle finger.

"I want you to pack up and leave by tomorrow. I don't care wherever the hell you go." She says and leaves the room.

Calum sits on his bed and puts his head in his hands. I don't know what to do. I kneel down in front of him between his legs.

"Hey, Cal, it's fine. Everything's going to be fine."i say and Calum sniffles.

I put my hands on his neck and play with his hair slightly. He removes his hands but he isn't crying.

"Where am I going to live? I just came out of a coma yesterday. How am I supposed to not go into a coma again?!" He asks and I lift my head up to the side of his ear.

"It's okay baby." I whisper and brush my lips lightly on his ear lobe.

"Relax me." Calum says and I pull back and look at him in confusion.

"Relax me." He repeats.

"How?" I ask and Calum shrugs.

"Do what you do." he suggests and I raise a brow.

"Your mom just shouted at us for--"

"Just. Fucking. Do. It." He says and I lay him down on the bed and bring my lips to his neck and begin to kiss him lightly. He moans and turns his head sideways so that I can get more of his neck.
