Luke's POV.

I almost fell over when I stepped into school. It was starting to get cold. I walked up to my locker and got everything. There was a strange vibe in here that made me uncomfortable. Calum came over and the vibe lifted up.

"We've got a little company over there." I whispered.

I looked over my shoulder to see Leo talking amongst his friends about something. I grabbed Calum's arm and pulled him away.

"Where are we going?" Calum asked.

"Away from there." I answered and pulled him to the back of the school.

I instantly pushed him against the wall, craving his lips.

"Luke, it's only been a day." Calum said.

I sighed and let him go.

"How's therapy?" I asked sitting down and he sat in front of me.

"Horrible. The woman is so... loving and it's just so annoying." Calum answered.

"I really wish I could come." I said.

"Yeah, that would be fun." Calum smiled.

The bell soon rung and we said our goodbyes before walking off. I suddenly got pulled into the janitors closet and someone's lips slammed onto mine and they pushed me into a shelf causing buckets and soaps to collapse.

I pushed whoever it was off me. I wiped my mouth, they were extremely sloppy. I looked up and saw Layla. My eyes widened.

"Layla? I thought we were just friends." I said.

"I couldn't take it anymore." She panted.

I shook my head and headed for the door but she stood in front of it.

"Layla, I'm gonna be late for class, please move." I said.

She shook her head and stayed there.

"Alright, I'll stay in here then. You'll soon move." I said and sat in the corner and went on my phone.

One hour, two hours, three hours and Layla still didn't move. By now I was laying on the floor and staring at the ceiling.

"You aren't gonna let me out are you?" I asked.

"Nope." Layla replied.

"Okay fine, what do you want?" I asked.

"For you to sit with me this lunch." She said.

My eyes widened in horror. But she sat with all those girly girls. Whatever, Calum would understand.

"Alright--"

"And pretend you're my boyfriend." She added with a smirk.

"Hell no!" I shouted.

"Then you won't get out of this closet." Layla said.

I decided to wait until after lunch. Then, at the end of the day I would text Calum and tell him to help me. Layla was crazy. She needed a boyfriend. Soon, lunch passed and I texted Calum to help me after school.

Suddenly, the door burst open and Layla fell to the side. It was Calum. I smiled and walked out. Layla grabbed my hand.

"This isn't over." She spat.

She walked off. I thanked Calum a thousand times and we walked home.

"Do you want to go to the milkshake place today?" I asked.

"I can't, I have to go to therapy." Calum sighed.

My smiled dropped and I ran my fingers through his hair.

"It's okay, it'll be over once you're alright again." I smiled.

He smiled back and we walked our separate ways once again. I was really pissed that I couldn't hang out with Calum today because Layla locked me in the janitors closet. I soon arrived home and crashed on my bed. My plan on how to ask Calum out failed. I had to think up a new one.

**

Calum's POV.

"Hello Calum! How are you today?" Poppy asked and I walked past her and into our room and sat on the couch.

"Now, how was your day?" poppy smiled widely.

"Fine." I answered crossing my arms.

"Well then we don't have much to talk about, do we?" poppy laughed.

There was an awkward silence but Poppy soon interrupted it by rambling about her son. I didn't even care, I just wanted to get out of here. I fiddled with my fingers as she somehow changed to the subject of working at the walmart.

I leaned back and thought about how to ask Luke to be my boyfriend. I bounced my leg up and down waiting for time to pass. Maybe I could just ask him in person? But where?

I had a brain block thanks to Poppy's rambling. She finally said I could go and I scrambled up to my feet and walked away. I said goodbye to a few people and walked home.
