What We Could Be // cake

Chapter 6

Luke's POV.

I woke up to see I was not in my bedroom. I sat up and lay back down because my head was pounding. I didn't realize a hand was around my waist and spun around to see Calum. We both were only in our boxers. What the hell happened?! The last thing I remembered was when I knew I was in love with Calum. I didn't remember the rest. I looked on the floor and saw our clothes, I grabbed my phone out and saw it was 2.37pm. I didn't know what to do but try as hard as I could to remember what happened last night. I carefully put Calum's hand on his side and went into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were red, my hair was messed up and greasy and... I had... hickeys? There were a few purple marks on my neck and chest. I went back to the bedroom to see Calum had a few on his neck. What happened?! It soon started to flood back.

We downed the rest of the drinks and we both had seven each. I stood up and almost fell back down causing Calum to laugh. He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside and into the bedroom. He took both my hands and he walked forwards and I walked back as our noses touched. He pushed me down and I fell back on to a bed. He climbed over me, straddling my waist with each leg. His hand played with my hair slightly and his lips went to my neck, sucking on the skin leaving purple marks. They traveled down my chest and gave me hickeys there too. He seemed to be enjoying simply giving me hickeys as I moaned.

Wait, we didn't even kiss yet? Wow, that was lucky because I wanted this kiss we were going to share to be special. Not a drunk, fake one. I heard Calum coming into the toilet.

"Okay, why do we have hickeys?" he asked and I looked away.

"We... did something. But we didn't kiss." I said and his eyes widened.

"We just gave each other hickeys? Wow, I've done worse." He chuckled and I stared at him.

"Oh, n-not... not that kind of worse." He stuttered.

"Okay Calum. Come on, we should probably leave now." I said and he nodded.

We slipped on our clothes and sneaked out of the house before getting into Calum's car. We sat in it and I leaned back as I closed my eyes tightly to try get the headache away. I felt a hand on my thigh and looked to see Calum smiling at me.

"My mom's gonna kill me." I sighed.

"Same. She'll make me do homework for free time or something." Calum said.

Soon, we were at my house.

"As much as I'd love to come in with you, there's always a time we have to be alone, am I right?" Calum said and I laughed before nodding.

"I'll see you later babe." He said before walking to his car and I entered the house.

Babe?

"LUKE!" I heard my mom yell.

"Yeah mom?" I called.

"Where are you?" she screamed before coming down.

"Where the hell were you? I was worried sick!" she screamed and hugged me tightly.

What a fake hug it was.

"Now go to your room, you look drained." She said and I ran up to my room.

I grabbed the textbooks Calum and I bought from the first day and hugged it tightly. I wanted to kiss his plump little lips. I just... couldn't bring myself to do it. I soon fell asleep.

I woke up to hear whispering at my door and pressed my ear against it.

"Yeah, I saw them too!"

"Should we check?"

"What if he's awake?"

Shit, it was Ben and Jack and I knew they'd seen my hickeys. I quickly grabbed my phone and jumped back into bed and used it and made sure my hickeys were covered perfectly up. Ben and Jack soon entered and I looked at them.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

They looked at each other before apologizing and quickly running out. I smirked and looked at the time to see it was 6.00pm. My phone began to ring and I picked it up and realized it was Ashton.

"So how was it at the party? Anything sneaky happen?" Ashton asked and I laughed slightly.

"Nah, not much. We got a little tipsy but it was boring." I answered.

I hated lying to a cute little guy like Ashton but I couldn't give us away or he would tell Michael and they would both tease me for sure. Plus, they would be surprised to know that we'd only known each other for two weeks and are already giving each other hickeys but... not kissing...

Yet.
