        "Ayu, look!"

Mikoto urged the little brunette to stare at an album as she waited downstairs for the young Uchiha to come down from his room. It was one of their typical days of studying, so the idea of showing Sasuke's wild childhood memories appealed to his mother.

"Here, here! This is when Sasuke was in his kiddy pool swimming for the first time. Isn't he cute?" she squealed while shoving an opened photo album to Ayu's face. A miniature Sasuke in his baby swimming trunks caught her attention, looking disturbed by the camera in this picture.

        "H-How cute...!" she beamed.

"And this is the time when he spilled milk on his shirt!" Sasuke was crying his eyes out in this one with his blue shirt all damped. She flipped to next page as Ayu saw an unfamiliar little boy standing next to spiked raven haired boy in one photo.

He was two inched taller than Sasuke, dark long hair and similar onyx eyes. They look relatable. Then a blissful sigh escaped the mother Uchiha as she peered at the same photo that Ayu was goggling at.

"Oh, how I miss Itachi so much...," she muttered with a sad smile.

        Itachi?

Curiosity found their way to the brunette's face, gathering up the courage to question about this boy until they both heard heavy footsteps stomping down the stairs, making their eyes turn.

"What the heck are you showing her, mom?!" it was Sasuke who looked provoked and angry about their energetic conversation coming from downstairs. He must have been eavesdropping.

Mikoto laughed loudly as he strode over. "I was just showing Ayu your baby collection, honey!"

"No way." He then closed the book quickly and snatched it away from her reach.

She watched as Mikoto try to grab it and pout. "But sweetie! Don't you want your girlfriend to know how you were when you were just a toddler?"

Those words never left their ears, echoing like a broke record. His what now?!

"Mom! Ayu has a boyfriend! She's dating Satoshi, remember?" Sasuke argued back and then Mikoto's eyes looked disappointed as all hopes left her cream colored face.

"Really? Aw, that's too bad... You do realize all the good ones are going to be taken if you don't step up, Sasuke!" Mikoto cried. "I would like to have grandchildren, you know!"

Sasuke was getting fed up with his mother's teases. With an exasperated 'ugh' shouted by him, he grabbed one of Ayu's wrist and pulled her off the couch, leaving Mikoto sitting by herself.

        "Let's go," he said eagerly.

Ayu turned to Mikoto for the final time and waved. "Bye, Mikoto! Thank you for the tea."

After exiting the Uchiha home, they headed back at school's library for retreating the proper books they needed to continue on with the project. As desperate as they are, the due date is approaching.

Ayu looked up at the Uchiha boy who's on a ladder above her, read off the book list in their three-ringed binder. "It's the green one," she instructed and Sasuke nodded, pulling out the hard cover that she directed him to.

The sudden thought of her previous event with Mikoto left a pleasing memory in her.

"You have a really nice mom," she said out of the blue with a little chuckle. "It must be nice to have her around the house, doesn't it?" He sighed.
