"I'm starving! Let's get something to eat." Ayu led themselves to a walkway of food stands lined up after another until they reached upon a grilled section.
After numerous times of hopping onto rides, they grew tired of their adrenaline rush and decided to deep fried, fair food.
Sasuke ordered a fried squid from the booth and stood by Ayu who was already chewing spicy fish cake, poking her plate with a toothpick.
"You have to try some," she boasted happily but Sasuke didn't give any say.
But his eyes found a piece of of the fishy substance moving towards his lips. He flinched.
"Try it," she chanted and maneuvered the fish cake closer to his face.
His eyes stared at it suspiciously with his head tilting to the side. Ayu watched him open his mouth wide with eyes closed, signaling her to feed him like a baby bird.
She smiled at his gesture and let him take a piece from her pick. His stoic face made no reaction as he chewed on the food slowly. She was waiting for his reply and then asked, "How is it?"
His face didn't change while looking at her. However, he made the same gesture by opening his mouth silently, wanting more. It was a very cute sight for a mighty Uchiha like him to do, so Ayu giggled and continued to feed him with the rest of the remaining fish cakes she has.
For the rest of the day, they crossed paths with the gaming area and watched others play with their might to obtain a giant penguin. It reminded her the time when she won a panda against, knowing how lucky she was to win it.
And so, her confidence got to her.
"One please," Ayu bravely went up to the booth and raised a finger at the host.
The man gave her three darts and the task was to pop tiny balloons nailed to the board. In attempt to do so, the brunette made a half squat and tossed a dart at the board, but she watched it sadly missed. On her other two tries, not at least made an effort to pop a latex ballon. Then she soon heard a scoff beside her.
"You suck," Sasuke commented. Ayu was challenged by him as she handed him the darts haughtily.
"Then you try, Mr. I-can-do-anything."
He sighed and approached the table with the green darts in his hand. Sasuke stood at the same spot she was standing, and carelessly yet skillfully threw all of his darts at once with a flick of his wrist. Three pops were echoed from the board and Ayu's jaw dropped in amazement.
He can do anything.
"Thank you. Come again," the host gave Sasuke a miniature penguin which Ayu was surprised of the prize.
"Wait a minute! Shouldn't that be a giant penguin?" Once the host looked over at her, he had the most irked face and flicked his toothpick to the ground.
"Listen, kid. I only have a little in stock so they're only up for display. If you want to win a giant ass penguin, you have to pay me in order to do so."
"What?! You twisted, old, cheap-"
"Alright, Ayu, don't make a scene." Before she started a riot, Ayu was pulled away from Sasuke who grabbed her arm protectively and shielded in front of her by facing the man. "Sorry, sir, she hasn't taken her meds yet so she's a bit frisky tonight."
