It was announced that they were official, officially dating for two exhilarating months and fifteen days, meaning two long months and fifteen days of sheer romance. And Sasuke almost couldn't take watching the local love birds be a corny couple from a generic romance movie. He was beginning to hurl.

But he noticed during these agonizing two months and fifteen days that it's been the happiest with Satoshi and Ayu. He never seen his right man been so giggly and compelled, like being with her brought out many different sides of him - mostly the best that Sasuke has ever seen. It surprised him how a relationship can change someone in a short amount of time.

He was starting to get envious of his best friend. Because of this, Sasuke never wished for anything else to be as happy as he is. He underestimated Ayu, after all.

Until in the beginning of spring in mid February, things started to change slowly once Sasuke made a surprising discovery about his genuine friend. The cherry blossom tree outside his window sprouted little pink petals from its branch as a light wind swept the fresh air of spring under a powder blue sky. With bags and luggages by his side, the Uchiha boy peered down at Satoshi who zipped every pocket in his case and stood abruptly tall. This is it.

"Don't look at me like that, Sasu-nii," Satoshi chuckled sadly. His face read hopefulness although his eyes shown melancholy. "It's not like I'm not going to see you ever again. You're still going to be my babe."

Sasuke didn't react to his comment instead it only made him sadder.

Unfortunately, Satoshi is moving due to his father's promotion so they have to live closer to the company's workplace, and that's not anywhere close to the city. In fact, it's not even in Japan. Moving to a different country is a big change for him, considering how he lived here almost all his life.

Sasuke's expression didn't stir as his obsidian eyes glued to his wooden floor.

"I honestly don't know what to say to you right now," he confessed openly, deciding if he should be crying or composed.

This made the green eyed boy smile gently at the raven, and said, "You don't have to. I will visit, of course. It's not going to be the last time I see you." Then his eyes aimed down at his hand and found a CD planted in its case while his face altered from being bullish to wretched. "...I hope."

His curious, onyx eyes looked at the CD in Satoshi's hand, reading at the front and it displayed his messy handwriting in red, fat marker. Our Playlist, it said. Then it struck him who he might be giving that to.

"What are you going to do about Ayu?" he questioned.

The answer is a bit obvious, knowing that situations like this, couples usually call it off and never reunite their feelings ever again. Somehow, the look on Satoshi's face, made him think otherwise. He was thinking.

An exasperated sigh left his lips as the Miyubara masked his eyes with his hand in frustration.

"I...," he started, "don't want to think about that right now. I honestly don't know what I'm going to tell her, if this is really goodbye or not. But one thing that I'm sure of is I won't stop loving her, not when I'm on that plane, not when I'm more than a thousand miles away from her, not ever. But I'm aware that it's going to be difficult in the long run. Still, I can't just forget about her when I leave."

Squinting his eyes, Sasuke only shrugged slightly at his words. He almost felt bad for him, even he doesn't know exactly the right answer is. Is it right to tell him what to do?

        "Sasuke?"

        He glanced up.

"Please watch over Ayu for me," Satoshi instructed. "She's a very cheerful girl, but I know at times she hides how she truly feels. And I know, definitely, that she will be emotionally unstable when I'm gone."

He noticed the Uchiha is taken by surprise at his request. "I'm telling you this because you're my best friend. I trust you that you will watch over my girl for me and make sure she'll be okay."

        "Satoshi..."

How the hell is he going to do that? He barely knows the girl yet his best friend believes he can watch over her?

A hand gripped his shoulder securely in a reassuring manner, given with a motivating grin and smiled eyes.

"Everything will be fine. Ayu... She's an easy person to get along with. If only you're not a cold stump to her, you would see it."

Sasuke just rolled his eyes. He suddenly flinched by the sound of luggage wheeled against floor while Satoshi walked to the door.

"Well, I gotta go before my flight takes off," then his head turned over his shoulder as he gave another one of his longing stares at the raven boy. But a smile stretched across his face while he does his signature farewell with his two fingers saluting him a bye.

"I'll see you, Sasu-nii. Don't cheat on me!"

"Yeah, right," Sasuke lifted a cheerful smirk while he watched his best friend walk out the door.

Until he hears Satoshi's footsteps walk down the steps of his house and the front door opening and closing, he muttered softly to himself, "I'll miss you."
