"I'll call you once I get off the plane, okay?" Satoshi assured a hindering Ayu with an empty expression. She nodded.
With lips forming a thin line, he sighed loudly as his hazel-green gems stared at her cautiously. "I wish I don't have to go, especially at this time."
They knew that he was referring to his one and only Uchiha best friend, considering how he has been in the dark for some time now. When Sasuke needed him most, Satoshi must leave the country to go back to his hometown.
"Where do you think he's staying?" she asked curiously.
"With his aunt and uncle's apartment. Compare to his house, it might be a tad bit small for him," he answered lightly, earning a slight chuckle from the brunette.
He watched as Ayu gave a sad smile to him. "I'm sure things will be fine."
Satoshi reverted back into being serious, peering at her with solemn eyes. Somehow, he looked worried and concern at the conditions he's leaving behind.
"Even if I'm not here, I want you to watch over him for me, alright? I know that he will be reckless and irrational. After his brother died, he wasn't himself. I know I won't be there, physically, for him but I know you will in my place. So please, take care of Sasuke." By his request, it nearly shocked Ayu. By the way he was gazing at her, he wanted her to be responsible for him.
She can't refuse his offer, not after witnessing how terrible Sasuke is. Ayu would still look after him, with or without Satoshi's wishes, because she cares about him.
"Yeah... I will."
As he gave her his last arm-breaking hug, Ayu embraced him back tenderly and then pulled apart to give him a long, passionate kiss. His lips moved, washing her with his kisses for another few weeks - or even months - to kiss her again and absorb all of her love.
Satoshi touched her head smoothly, pushing her dark brown hair back in order to get a clear image of her needy, wanting face. "I'll be back before you know it."
She twitched a smile. "I love you, Satoshi."
He gave another kiss, and then smiled kindly. "I love you, too."
And just like before, he had that same face on him as the last time she watched him go. The same twitchy smile and twinkling eyes are still there, waving goodbye at her as he ascended up the escalator.

"Poor, Sasuke..." Sakura muttered sadly, eyeballing at the raven's cold, empty chair. "I hope he's doing okay. I'm really worried about him."
Sasuke has been missing school ever since the accident happened. This is the third day he purposely missed it, and everyone has no clue when he will be coming back. It was a surprise that his parents' death took a large effect on him.
Ayu nodded in approval at her words. "I'm sure everyone feels the same way."
When she said that, she was aware that she's one of those people who actually thought of Sasuke as a fragile person. Hating him was one thing, but after a few months, she genuinely cares about him - more than he knows.
Sakura's eyes fell to the ground as an exasperated sigh escaped from her lips. "I miss him... I'm going to make him get-well cards if you want to come. Do you?"
"Sure, maybe later."
The pinkette nodded approvingly and walked off with the rest of their mutual friends with the same worrisome faces.
