Thank you to those who are supporting this story! You guys are awesome! In return, I whipped out my skills and drew a quick sketch of Ayu and Sasuke in graphite pencils ^-^ it's a bit messy due to poor lighting I have in my room (sorry if you notice lol). But what do you guys think?! :D *cries*

I need to learn how to scan my drawings instead of taking pictures of it >.>

Ja 'ne~!

Sasuke stared at the dawn sky over his head as he patiently waited for the girl to arrive at their rendezvous. With arms crossed and a contemplating look on him, he was starting to get tired until footsteps were nearing him. So his eyes trailed on the person's feet.

"You're late." But he abruptly paused for a second.

Ayu appeared in front of him with a complete different wardrobe - an outfit that caught him off guard and speechless, even her hair is neatly fixed with a few curls at the ends. He couldn't help but to stare wondrously at her like she was some piece of art.

She even dressed up for the occasion, presentable. But he, on the other hand, was only wearing his normal everyday clothes from school. Some guy he is.

Noticing his silent form, the brunette grew annoyed and punched his chest hard. "Stop staring!"

Sasuke finally snapped out of his trance. His cheeks dusted pink when he realized he was gawking at her and then covered his face with the back of his hand.

"Geez, you may look like a girl right now but you're still an ogre at heart," he muttered.

"Thanks for making me feel prettier than I already am!" she argued but a few words escaped out of him that didn't reach her ears. "What did you say?!"

        "I said relax, you're cute."

While she stared wondrously at his back, Sasuke chose to abort the conversation by walking ahead to purchase their admission passes at the entrance. The way he said that was unexpected and threw her off guard emotionally. She didn't know what to say at that moment.

Instead, Ayu just followed him to the fair obediently and be greeted by the music playing and scent of grilled food wafted in the air.

They were overwhelmed by the energy taken place there. The brunette's eyes sparkled when she saw something so appealing and thrilling, mesmerized by the large attraction. "Let's go on that roller coaster!"

Sasuke doesn't seem to fancy it as she could tell the unpleasant face he was giving by the sight of it and screams from the people above. He gulped, "D-Do we have to?"

        "You're not scared, are you?"

"That's rubbish," he snorted and masked himself a tough attitude while coming close to the ride bravely. She followed his tail and began to take a seat beside him on the cart, in the front row.

"You sure you're alright?" As she asked, his face said otherwise when his head kept turning in all directions cautiously. Ayu tried her best to not laugh at him.

The ride began to move, slowly taking them to the highest hill and then subconsciously dropping at full speed. Ayu couldn't get a hold of the handle bar as she screamed in a mixture of fear and joy, even tears were pouring out of her eyes while Sasuke yelled in agony.

After several loops and bumpy hills, it finally came to an end when the whole ride abruptly stopped and then carrying them over to the starting line. Glancing at Sasuke, the brunette had to support him on standing as he wobbled his way to the exit gate.

        Sasuke doesn't like roller coasters.

"Never again," he grumbled, and she laughed at his profile being horrified.

        "Let's go on another one!"

        "How about 'no'?"

Later on during the day, Ayu was having her fun until Sasuke pushed her eagerly to one attraction she feared the most; a haunted house. She knew that he wanted to enjoy her pain just like how she did with him.

"You're not scared, are you?" he sang with a mocking smirk.

"Yes I am, and I'm not afraid to admit it!" she fought back but miserably failed, realizing that she was already in the musty house.

Only several seconds of strolling through the hall, people in cheap masks and horribly-applied make-up on jumped from each corner they took. Each of those scares made Ayu let out a bloody scream, which she knew that the raven was getting a kick out of it.

        "BOO!"

She nearly screamed at the top of her lungs and grabbed to whatever that was around her for dear life which Sasuke felt her arms wrap tightly around his torso from behind.

He stumbled forward by her weight. "H-Hey! You're going to snap me in half if you don't let go."

Ayu ignored his command and shook her head, crying. "You're the one who forced me to go in here!"

He let out a sigh as he didn't bother to unravel her grip on him, putting his face in his hand. She was right.

"Fine, fine. Just hold onto me."

When she opened her eyes, she saw his hand out for her to grab. She was hesitant at first until an organ rang its keys loudly, causing her to leap and hugged the life out of Sasuke's arm.

"I HATE THIS PLACE!" she shouted weakly and hid behind him.

She heard the Uchiha stifling a soft chuckle above her. "You're so hopeless, I'm going to remember this forever."

Then his hand laced with hers securely when Ayu hid her blushing face from his sight, reaching further into the house without complaint. She couldn't focus on the monsters jumping at her now, not when her mind is clouded on the warmth between their hands locked together.

For some reason, it felt safe for her to just hold hands with him.

She did her best to contain her composure until they finally walked out into the steamy air of the fair. Releasing her grip, her hands landed over her racing heart.

She panted, "I think I need a breather..."

While she was boosting her conscious, Sasuke was busy in staring at his hand intently - the one that she was holding onto, in deep thought with an unwritten expression. For some reason, his hand was just craving more of it.

Or within him, he felt a lost connection when touching her now.

        "Sasuke?"

He flinched, catching himself in space and stuffed his hands in pockets calmly. "Let's keep going."
