Around 2:30 a.m., King pulled up to a black steal gate and punched a code in the key pad. The code King punched in controlled the gate and the garage doors, opening them simultaneously. He parked the car, then woke everyone up. They were shocked to see that King had driven all the way to Penelope's lake house. The girls scrambled to their feet and gathered their belongings as Penelope opened the garage door, leading to the back of the foyer in the house. She placed the keys in the key holder dish on the decorative table. She took a minute to look at her beautiful four bedroom-three and a half bath home, completely enclosed on a lake. About an acre was filled with tall trees, some of which draped over the lake and looked like a picture on a post card.

"Are you okay?" Beverly asked Penelope, who was standing still in the foyer.

"What's wrong?" Jules came rushing up to them.

"What is it?" King said, following after Jules.

"No, you guys! Chill, I'm okay. Thanks, I was just trying to remember the last time that I was here," Penelope clarified.

"Good, because all of this support is working my nerves," Jules said sarcastically.

"Negative Nancy Jules, you are in time out," Beverly yelled.

"What are we going to do with you?" King shook his head at Jules.

"Where are we sleeping?" Beverly asked.

"Well, I have the master bedroom, of course. Since my parents stayed there, and then you guys can take over the other rooms," Penelope said.

Jules piped up, "I propose-"

"Nothing Jules, you propose nothing. Now go to your room and leave Penelope alone," King interrupted.

"You know, you guys always gang up on me like I am not a part of this friendship!" Jules yelled.

"Because you speak as if you are not a part of this friendship, Jules," Beverly insisted.

"Guys, it's almost three in the morning. Let's just call it a night, please," Penelope pleaded.

They all agreed and walked to their prospective rooms. They didn't bother to unpack; they just unwounded themselves and went to sleep. It was almost five in the evening when the four of them started moving around. They finished unpacking their belongings and then decided to go out for dinner, which was really breakfast and lunch for the late risers. Penelope had a strange desire to eat a good stake, so they drove to Nina's Bar & Grill which was a favorite restaurant of hers when she was little. Her family was such a frequent at the restaurant; they became friends with the owners. Any time Penelope was in town, she would text Nina so that she didn't need a reservation. As soon as Penelope walked into the five star restaurant, the waitress at the door immediately seated her and the others which made them feel like royalty.

As everyone was discussing the delicious food, Penelope locked eyes with a certain guy who was sitting at the bar facing her and holding a drink. She noticed that the man hadn't stop looking at her from the minute she walked into the door, but didn't want to say anything. It wasn't like she didn't know that she was a beautiful girl. All her life, she's heard about how stunning she was making his staring normal at first. After two hours, she decided to figure out what his problem was. She thought by looking back at him, he would become intimidated and look away. To her surprise, the man got up and walked over to her table as he took her returned look as an invitation.

"Hi, I'm Mat! It's short for Matthew, Matthew Taylor," Mat said, putting his hand out for Penelope to shake it.

"Oh, I'm not interested Matt," Penelope brushed him off.
