The next day, Agent Alex was in the office trying to figure out what to do about King. As he tried to trace King's last whereabouts, another agent entered his office without an appointment or prior notification.
"Excuse me sir, my name is Agent Donahue and I am the head of Elena White's detail," FBI Agent Donahue stated.
"Yes, I'm sorry for your loss! It certainly could've been prevented," FBI Agent Alex said.
"Oh, she's not dead sir! That was a double. We sent the double out to see if she was in danger after one of the local officers were looking into her profile. She is very much alive, but growing weary of our efforts to protect her," FBI Agent Donahue explained.
"What!? So who was killed?" FBI Agent Alex asked.
"One of our rookie agents, Michelle Cash," FBI Agent Donahue replied.
"Okay, what can I do for you?"
"I wanted to know if we are making head way on luring the Russians out here, because I don't know how long I can contain Ms. White. She is threatening to stop eating if we don't let her get some sun on her skin," FBI Agent Donahue said.
"I'm sorry, I just took over and I am not up to speed. However, if you give me a day or two I promise I can get that answer to you right away," FBI Agent Alex answered.
The disappointed agent shook FBI Agent Alex's hand and then left. Just as he was leaving the office, he had an idea to use a time stamped video of Ms. White to lure the Russians. He called back for the agent to return to his office. Agent Donahue returned running, even though it wasn't that long of a distance.
"I need a time stamped video of Ms. White. Take her to a far away location and manipulate it to be across the world just in case they have hackers. I will use that to show that she is still alive and make them have to operate in person. I might even offer a fake trade," FBI Agent Alex stated.
"Sir, are you sure? This is a high classified asset here; do you want to put her at risk when the enemy thinks that she is dead?" FBI Agent Donahue questioned.
"They took an American and if it wasn't for his sister, we wouldn't know where to begin. Listen, I know her value I promise you I do. At the same time, we have a duty to try and save our fellow American," FBI Agent Alex explained.
Agent Donahue didn't protest anymore, he just left. Meanwhile, Penelope stayed home for two weeks and then she refused to listen to her doctor's orders. Neither Jules nor Beverly could convince her to take any more time off. She checked her business account and discovered that the restaurant was doing amazing without her or King being present. Just in the past few months, the restaurant saw double the amount of customers as it did in one year with the previous owners. The business account had over seven hundred thousand dollars in it after paying for all the expenses. This meant that she could pay King back; he just needed to safely come home. She decided to pop into the restaurant and congratulate her employees on a job well done.
Just as Penelope was completely dressed and about to walk out of her bedroom, her television came on and it was King. She was so happy to see him. She dropped her bag and screamed his name.
"Shhh! You'll cause the other girls to come into your room," King hissed.
"Sorry, I'm just so happy to see you! How are you?" Penelope said.
"I'll be better when I get away from these people. Look I don't have much time, what is the officer saying? Is he going to help me?" King asked.
"Yes, he said that he will keep me in the loop. He believes you King, even though we were not able to stop the shootings at the park," Penelope stated.
