As soon as everyone heard that Penelope was awake, they all rushed to her hospital room. All except King, but Penelope didn't notice at first. There were too many faces that she was trying to remember. It certainly didn't help that Mr. and Ms. Cruz were still fighting.

"Hey, are you fighting over me?" Penelope asked her parents.

"No, honey! This has nothing to do with you," Ms. Cruz replied.

"Why don't you leave and come back later when we are not here?" Jules snapped.

"Why don't you leave and don't come back? It's not like you're family," Mr. Cruz piped in.

"That's right, just like Maria isn't family either," Jules snarled.

"Jules, not in front of Penelope," Beverly yelled.

"What's going on? Why are you fighting?!" Penelope screamed.

Her vitals starting climbing rapidly, this prompted the machines that she was hooked up to, to beep loudly. Cathy rushed to the room and started pushing buttons. She looked around the room and radioed for security. She was all too familiar with the family and could tell just what was happening. As she administered a Xanax to Penelope to calm her down, she fussed at all who was present in the room.

"When will you all learn, this is not the place to fight," Cathy scolded.

"We are so sorry Penelope!" Ms. Cruz apologized.

"You should be sorry!" Mr. Cruz snarled.

"Really David?" Ms. Cruz said.

"Both of you, out now!" Cathy yelled.

"I am not leaving my daughter and you can't talk to us that way," Ms. Cruz stated.

Cathy called for a security guard to enter the room, "Ma'am, I have to ask you to leave."

Ms. and Mr. Cruz left without further causing a scene. Cathy told the girls that they could stay as long as they didn't upset Penelope. She said that she had just given her a sedative to calm her down and didn't need them undermining her tactic. She explained that Penelope wouldn't get strong if she kept sedating her. The girls promised to try and keep her calm as Cathy left the room. Penelope fell asleep without talking any more about what was happening with her parents.

Meanwhile, King and the girls decided to take a boat ride. He knew that the only way to keep the girls calm without raising eyebrows, was by keeping them preoccupied with fun activities. He bought them Anna and Elsa outfits to play dress up when it was really a disguise. When he took them out in public, they looked like his daughters. While he was out on the boat, he listened to the radio just in case his location was compromised. So far, no one knew that it was him who had the girls. However, he did hear the news anchor report that a man's body was found off the highway where he and his friends first stop during their move. The anchor said that the man was found badly beaten and severely decomposed. King smiled to himself, because he knew that the dead body was his first kill which taught him to release his emotions by killing. From there, he perfected his drone and other devices to allow him to be a technological killer. He became cocky for a few moments as he felt proud of his ability to think of everything. That pride soon turned to panic, when the news reporter reported that Penelope had woken up out of her comma. He wondered if she remembered what he said, but knew that he was safe because the news anchor was still saying that the authorities were clueless about the recent massacres. Either way, he knew that he had to figure out a way to pay Penelope a visit to make sure that she had no recognition of his admission.
