That night, Penelope turned on the television set to see if the police had leaked King's name to the media. Part of her knew they didn't because then the reporters would swarm the lake house, but the other part of her knew how hard it was to get into their neighborhood, making the media theory unreal to her. At first, the news anchors were candidly talking about their weekend, but a few minutes later the conversation turned serious.

"Welcome back to Breaking News. I'm Kerry Walsh and this is Maria Calloway. We come to you live today to discuss the recent shootings. We learned that authorities are still no closer to solving this case. Local and federal authorities are urging the public to call if they have any information on whom or what has been committing these crimes. Maria, are we still advising the public to stay at home?" Kerry asked.

"Well, I would tread cautiously only because the shootings seem to have eased up. However, I don't want to be that person who said its safe when it is not," Maria replied.

"I agree, be careful people. We are still scrambling to understand what happened when all of these people were shot out in public," Kerry stated.

"Yes and I would like to add that there could possibly be more shootings as long as we don't have a suspect in custody. Meanwhile on other news, local authorities are reporting that ex-Governor Cruz had an affair with an illegal immigrant. I have to tell you, he should've never got into office after his comments about illegal immigrants living in our country and not paying taxes. What a hypocrite!" Maria exclaimed.

"I agree. His tax hearing is tomorrow. I wonder if he is going to be thrown in jail or will he pay back his taxes," Kerry added.

Before the conversation became any more embarrassing for Penelope's father, she turned the television off. She took a shower and brushed her teeth. Then, she prepped her bed to lay in it, when her television screen came back on. This time, it remained black and words were appearing across the screen.

Penelope, this is King! I need you to do me a favor. I need you to tell Officer Carmichael, who seems to be the smarter one of the two, that I've been kidnapped and I am being held against my will. Tell him that he can't tell anyone or I will be killed along with other members of my family. Tell him that the people who have me are planning a shooting at the Disney Park tomorrow afternoon. They are after a rogue Russian spy who turned on them. The name is Svetlana Smirnoff, but the FBI have her listed as Elena White. I will peak with you again when I can. If he asks why me, tell him that they want me to make equipment for them. I got to go, I love you!

"No, wait!" Penelope yelled, prompting the girls to rush into her room.

"Are you okay?" Beverly asked.

"What's going on?" Jules piped in.

"Gees Louis you guys, are you standing outside of my bedroom door listening in on me or something? Do you have the room bugged and I don't know it?" Penelope joked.

"No, we were heading to our rooms when we heard you call out," Beverly said.

"Who were you talking to?" Jules questioned.

"No one, I was yelling at the television," Penelope stated.

"But it's not on," Jules pointed.

"Because I turned it off by accident and that's when you heard me say, no wait," Penelope explained.

"Okay, if you say so! Let us know if you need anything," Beverly said as she turned to leave the room.
