As Alex and Sgt. Greg worked on a plan to stop the Russians, his recovery team reported to him that all members of Svetlana's protection detail made it out of the safe house alive. He repeated that there were no casualties when they were searching for survivors. Fortunately, most of them were already in the safe room watching the surveillance camera when the weapon started the attack. They darted to the underground tunnel and made it to the escape route untouched. The property was severely damaged from heavy fire power and it did not leave a slight trace of evidence. Relieved, Alex decided to post a message on the dark web. He wrote the following on a piece of paper:

To the men who thought that it would be cute to destroy my mamma's house, the joke is on you. She wasn't home and now you are clueless as to where she is. I know who you are and I am coming for you.

Alex held up the piece of paper to his camera screen, so that anyone clicking around would see it and read it. He knew that those in charge of killing Svetlana would receive the message somehow. Alex was still sitting in Sgt. Greg's office when he did this. As soon as Sgt. Greg realized what Alex was doing, he questioned him.

"Have you gone mad?!" Sgt. Greg yelled.

"What are you talking about? And lower your voice," Alex replied.

"You are egging them on and you could cause that poor girl's brother to be killed for your teasing," Sgt. Greg spat.

"My heart goes out to Penelope and King, it really does. However, in any event the death of thousands is more important than saving one. Now it is my goal to save all, but just in case I can't, King is not first priority. I am sorry, he just can't be," Alex explained.

"I would be happier if you at least tried," Sgt. Greg said.

"I never said that I wasn't going to, now can we try to come up with a plan that could bring him home?" Alex asked.

The two of them went back to deliberating on what exactly could they do to take down the dirty government. Meanwhile, the man in the lab coat ran into Aleandra's office to show him the video of Svetlana being confirmed as alive. Aleandra was so upset that he threw his whole desk over. Just as he was about to continue tearing up his office, a very important phone call was patched through to him.

"This is Aleandra, who am I speaking too?" Aleandra said as he placed the phone on speaker.

"It's Kemp."

"President, how can I be of service?" Aleandra replied.

"You can help me by telling me why my money is in your pockets if you are not going to complete your end of the bargain?!" The voice yelled.

"There have been a few mishaps, but we are working on it. Somehow the authorities stay one step ahead of us as if you are giving me out dated information!" Aleandra snarled.

"You're blaming this on me? Are you calling me a liar?!" The voice enraged.

"Your words, not mine. I just need a little more time and I will complete my end. I never break a promise," Aleandra calmly said.

"You better, or it will be bad for you," The voice threatened.

"I don't take kindly to threats, sir!" Aleandra warned.

"I don't make idle threats; do the job I paid for," The voice demanded before hanging up.

This conversation made Aleandra even angrier and he continued his office rampage. When he was finished with his temper tantrum, he decided that killing Svetlana had to be done in person and not with a device. He called for Cathy who was already on her way to his office.
