The first thing Officer Carmichael and Sgt. Greg did was deliberated on a plan. They decided that it would be wise if they were not caught off guard when the time came. Sgt. Greg suggested that they only bring in FBI Alex on the plot in order to control leaks. They decided that they also needed authorizations to hold Cathy at one of the FBI's safe houses in order to fool her into thinking that she was protected instead of a prisoner. They decided that Officer Barrett would be a good fit for security detail, since he wasn't the brightest of the bunch. Once they were able to obtain the purpose of this whole fiscal, they will work on King's location and then arrest her once King is safely in America. It was the perfect plan in their eyes. Once the details were worked out, the men were satisfied with their plan and went about their normal duties as if Penelope never warned them about what was to come. Officer Carmichael and Sgt. Greg spent the next couple of days excited for their new quest. Only after a week, it seem like the quest wasn't about to happen. Officer Carmichael called Penelope to check in with her, but she didn't hear anymore about Cathy from King. They were careful not to call any names or give specific information just in case the call was being recorded. Just when Officer Carmichael and Sgt. Greg were about to give up, a stranger approached Officer Carmichael while they were at Nina's Bar & Grill for lunch. The stranger wore a black hooded jacket with jeans and a beat up wig. She sat beside Officer Carmichael as soon as Sgt. Greg left for the restroom as the officer took a bite of food.
"Are you Officer Carmichael?" The stranger asked.
"Yes, I am. Do I know you? Do you need help?" Officer Carmichael replied.
"I have information about King and I need to speak to you in private. Meet me around back," The stranger said before getting up and walking away.
"What's wrong with you?" Sgt. Greg asked, walking back to the table confused as to why Officer Carmichael was staring at a person walking away.
"We got to go, now!" Officer Carmichael exclaimed, pulling out a $20.00 bill to pay for his and Sgt. Greg's food.
"Oh! It's happening, okay!" Sgt. Greg said, grabbing his stuff.
The officers gave the cashier the money without waiting for their change and then walked around to the back of the building. As soon as the stranger saw both of them, she began to walk away.
"Wait, he can be trusted I promise!" Officer Carmichael yelled as he followed the woman.
"How I am supposed to believe that, I was told about one person," The stranger said.
"Look Cathy, we only want to help you I can promise you that. We will protect you with our life," Sgt. Greg stated.
"How do you know my name?" Cathy asked.
"King told us, he's been communicating with us through his sister. That's why your brother hasn't been able to kill Svetlana. You can trust us. Come, we must leave now," Officer Carmichael urged, motioning her to his car.
"If this is a trick, it will be the last trick you both carry out. I promise you that!" Cathy threatened as she walked with the officers.
Officer Carmichael and Sgt. Greg drove to a car rental company to pick up a rental car. That way there was no way to track them. Sgt. Greg drove the squad car back to the station, while he picked up Officer Barrett and FBI Alex in another rental car. They all met up at the safe house they discussed once they had Cathy in their custody. Alex picked this safe house especially because it was like a prison. If you didn't know the codes to the doors, there was no way out. The windows were unbreakable and the walls were thick. The gate to get on the property was electrical, so they would shock anyone who tried to climb it. Guard dogs roamed the yards and cameras were all over the place. When all arrived at the location, Cathy began to panic. She picked up a pen and held it to Officer Barrett's neck as he stood the closest to her.
