After King was finished cleaning himself up, he decided to take a stroll on the beach and entertain himself. He made sure to strap his bag of tricks on his back before leaving the hotel. King walked for about a mile down the beach before deciding to settle under a gazebo in the shade. The beautiful turquoise water was calm and enticing to the eyes. The sand was warm to touch and there weren't many people on the beach or in the water. The crowd was mostly at a beach concert further down the beach, where the music sensation Rihanna was singing "Pond De Replay". There must have been about five thousand people dancing and singing the words to the song. Out of nowhere, a device hovered over some of the people in the back of the crowd and began to shoot at them. All of a sudden, people were dropping like flies. The sad part was that the music was so loud; no one heard or saw anyone with a weapon. They just kept dancing and singing until people started screaming or falling. King stood up and started speed walking to his hotel; he thought that he had had enough of outside for one night especially since death was following him.

The next day, King decided to take a walk out in the city and try to see the rest of the island. He got dressed and then made his way outside of his hotel building. He noticed that the beach was cut off due to the recent shootings. He decided that today was a good day to remain out for several hours. He raised his hand and waited as a taxi pulled up in front of him. He opened the door once the vehicle stopped moving and got into the car. He told the taxi driver to drive him to the city and that he wanted to see the rest of the island. After three hours, the taxi driver had driven him from one end of the island to another. When he asked if that was all there was to see, the taxi driver asked him if he thought he was in the mainland America. He reminded King that he was on an island and he needed to go see the other islands if he wanted more adventure. King paid the taxi tab and decided to walk around. Besides, the taxi driver was reminding him of Jules' smart mouth.

A few minutes later, King found himself down an alley, taking a short cut to the mall. A group of six Hawaiian men were coming towards him in his direction. They were dressed like people up to no good with black as the most popular color and tattoos up to their eyeballs. King stopped walking and started looking around. He knew that they were up to evil, because they were looking at him, smiling in a mischievous way. King looked around at the alley and discovered that there were no windows or cameras for anyone to help him. When the men became close enough that King could hear what they were saying, he heard one guy call him an American Tourist who probably had lots of cash on him. This confirmed King's suspicion on the group's intentions. A few minutes later, King heard a buzzing sound making the men look up at the hovering device. The buzzing device started shooting instantly before the men knew what was happening. Once their dead bodies hit the floor, King turned around and began running in the direction he came from. Once he made it back in public, he decided that he would not be taking any more short cuts. The plan was to stay out all day, but it didn't look like King was going to follow through with that plan. He waived his hand at the passing cars in order to pick up a taxi just like he had done before. It took him all of two minutes before he was picked up. Just as the taxi was pulling up, King heard police cars and ambulance sirens in the far distant coming to the alley. Right on time, he figured as he entered the taxi and instructed the driver to take him to his hotel.

Once King arrived back at the hotel, he decided that he needed to find an apartment or house. There were too many police officers canvassing the area asking about the concert and any other mysterious incidents. He contacted the first realtor in the phone book. He told her over the phone what he was looking for. He said that he wanted to be secluded from others, but out on the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The realtor asked him if they could meet and he agreed. She showed him two homes, one on Maono PL. which was a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home and another house on Hanohano Way which was a 5 bedroom home with 6 baths. The first home was selling for $578,000 and the second was selling for $2,500,000. King chose the second home, because it was larger and closer to the beach. It had beautiful tall ceilings and white floors with an open kitchen flowing into the dining rooms. The bedrooms were bigger than most apartment rooms. King returned to the hotel to allow the realtor to finalize the deal with his parents. Before King made it into his hotel room, he saw that the realtor was running to catch him. She had spoken to his parents and needed her to deliver a message.

"King, wait up!" The realtor said, trying to catch her breath.

"Did my dad refuse to pay you?" King asked.

"No, you were reported as missing in California. Your dad says that they need you back and some girl named Penelope was in a car accident. He said that she is in a coma," The realtor explained.

"This is not funny! If this is the girls' way of getting me to come back by playing a sick joke, I am not laughing," King replied.

"Well hold on, we can find out if this is true. I have a police friend who can tell us if you were reported missing or if your friend is really in the hospital," The realtor suggested.

She took out her cell phone and dialed a number. Then she placed the call on speaker phone so that King could hear the conversation. It was clear to her that he was not in a trusting mood.

"Calvin, this is Anna! I have a client who was told that he was reported as missing from some friends back in California. Can you conduct a quick check to see if that is true? I also need you to run a quick check on his friend Penelope," Anna said.

"Sure, what are both of their names?" Officer Calvin asked.

"Penelope Cruz and King Clark," King said, rushing to answer before Anna.

"Yes, I have a King Clark listed as missing and I have a Penelope Cruz involved in a terrible car crash. Would you like me to contact the authorities there, sir?" Officer Calvin asked.

"No thanks, I will take it from here. Thank you," King replied.

"Sure thing, later, darling!" Officer Calvin said and then hung up.

"Can I borrow your phone, and can you give me a ride to the airport?" King asked.

"Sure!" Anna said.

"I'll pay you $500.00 for your time." King added.

"Oh goodness, thank you!" Anna said excitedly.

King darted in his hotel room trying to control his panic shakes. He took Anna's cell phone and dialed his pilot friend who just so happened to be at the airport. The pilot agreed to wait on him if he didn't mind riding with another customer. King then rushed to the lobby to turn in his hotel keys and check out of the room. He and Anna ran to her car where he threw his stuff in and sat down. Anna drove as fast as she could to the airport. Once there, King gave her the money and thanked her for all of her help.

At the private gate, there stood the pilot waiting patiently on King. King rushed to him and handed him an envelope with his payment. The two of them made their way to the plane and then boarded it. It wasn't long before the pilot was cleared to depart and they were up in the air. Within minutes, King was landing in California and rushing to find a taxi to take him to the hospital. He was angry with his family, but not with his new found sister. The truth was he wasn't sure how he was going to live without her. The ride to the hospital seemed like an eternity, one he knew that he would forever remember as his heart raced for what he was about to be faced with regarding Penelope.
