During the weekend, Officer Barrett and Officer Carmichael tracked down all the camera systems which took place during the shootings. Several cameras showed King fleeing the scenes which implicated him in all of the shootings. The officers were beaming from ear to ear after they had enough evidence to prove King's guilt. They prepared a report and went before the detectives in charge of the mass shootings. They thought that they were well prepared and ready to obtain a warrant for King's arrest. Before they could meet with the detectives, their supervisor asked to see what they had. He wanted to make sure that the officers were not providing substantial evidence which would not stand up in court and make them look bad as patrol men.

"Let's see what you guys have," Sgt. Greg said.

"Yes sir, we first encountered King Clark as he sat in a vehicle near Nina's Bar & Grill. He claimed to have nothing to do with it, but a witness came forward and placed him near the victim. We backed down after Clark showed a vehicle surveillance of him in the vehicle during the shooting in question. Our next encounter with Clark was after the same witness called us to inform us of a discovery. The witness believed that Clark was using some type of device to manipulate video surveillance. Only we didn't get to follow up with him on that, because he was killed near Nina's Bar & Grill. Do you want to take over?" Officer Barrett began, turning to Officer Carmichael.

"Sure, we got to thinking that something was off about Clark. Then his two friends called to report him missing just as his sister was in a comma. We tracked his activities to all the shootings between Hawaii and LA. We were also able to pull up surveillance footage from surrounding restaurants, showing Clark leaving the scenes and avoiding police presence. An approved warrant for his phone records showed that his phone pinged on every tower near each death, to include the first kill near the highway as they traveled to LA. Since we have searched him and didn't find a weapon or any weapons registered to him, I believe that he is using a drone. I believe that he controls the drone via cell phone and we saw a peak in data during the times that his cell phone pinged as proof. The amount of data used lines up with a drone device transmitting information back and forth. We also tracked his travel history via a pilot who confirmed that he flew Clark to Hawaii on the day of the concert shooting and he looked like he was traveling through the woods. We are now ready to request a warrant for his arrest to further obtain evidence to convict him," Officer Carmichael explained.

"Alright, if you can show me this video you speak off then you got that warrant. Good job boys, this is some really good detecting. This department is stunned as to whom or what is killing these people. If you crack this case open, you will be the most sought after cops in town. Fire it up," Sgt. Greg said, folding his arms across his chest.

Officer Barrett began typing on his laptop and entering USB devices. Officer Carmichael and Sgt. Greg were laughing up a storm until Officer Barrett started hitting the computer. His face was red with anger and the curse words that flew out of his mouth were new to all.

"Hey, that cost a lot of money! Chill, what is the matter?" Sgt. Greg asked.

"It's all gone!" Officer Barrett yelled.

"What? Let me see?" Officer Carmichael said, pulling the laptop towards him.

Officer Carmichael typed faster than lightning as Officer Barrett mumbled to himself across the room. Sgt. Greg looked to comfort Officer Barrett, but hesitated after seeing how upset Barrett was.

"What did you do? It was all here yesterday," Officer Carmichael exclaimed at Officer Barrett.

"What? You're blaming me?! You can't be serious!" Officer Barrett snarled.
