Yeona's POV

(Next day)

"What are you saying?"

"It's true. They broke up the other night-" Hyunjin

"You're telling me nonsense. There is no way they broke up. They were fine. Felix and Ayumi posted a pic that night. Can you just clean there and stop spitting nonsense?"

He keep telling me that Felix and Ayumi broke up which doesn't make sense because they were fine. How come they broke up all of a sudden? Their last post is they were celebrating Ayumi's birthday which will be in two weeks.

"That's why Chan called me that night. Remember? You even answered the call. We went to the bar that night and saw Felix crying with a lot of bottles in front of him. Chan was there. He arrived first before us" Hyunjin

"I don't understand. Can you tell me everything?"

"Felix and Ayumi broke up because Felix revealed something to her. Remember when Felix got into an accident? The reason why he almost lost his position as valedictorian to Ayumi. You also know Ayumi's Dad who died because of a heart disease?" Hyunjin

I nodded

Ayumi told me that her Dad died due to a disease. She doesn't know what kind of disease but that's what her brothers told her. She was so devastated about it. I saw how she almost lost her mind because of it. That's why I stayed with her through good times and bad times. That was the first time I saw her cried and frustrated.

"Felix accidentally hit Ayumi's Dad that night. He got into a fight with his parents and got drunk. He was on his way home and hit Ayumi's Dad who is also on his way home. He was scared and called his parents. He was too scared to bring him to the hospital alone" Hyunjin

"What?!"

"Felix thought his parents will bring him to the hospital but he was wrong. Ayumi's Father died and was announced because of a disease. Felix's parents covered up the crime for him. He was told to date Ayumi so she won't put Felix in jail. That's why he dated her" Hyunjin

"So, Felix don't like her? I don't understand. He seems serious with Ayumi. I can see how sincere he is. I don't believe that he just fooled Ayumi. This is so fucked up"

"He love Ayumi. He was so hurt and cried a lot when they broke up. I heard he talked to Ayumi last night. I just don't know what happened-" Hyunjin

"I'll go to Ayumi. You go to Felix"

He nodded.

We both get ready and left his unit.

I wonder how is Ayumi right now? I still can't believe what happened. They broke up and something was revealed that broke them apart. How come this happened to them?

I admit, at first I don't like them dating since I like Felix but fuck. I never hoped for them to break up and find out something like that. What will happen now? How is Ayumi right now?

As we arrived at Ayumi's house, I just got out of the car and Hyunjin left to visit Felix or his friends. I knocked on the door but no one is answering. I tried knocking a few times again. It opened.

"Where's Ayumi- You?"

He is the guy who gave me money and told me to leave.

"Juyeon! Open the door!" someone shouted from the kitchen

"I just did" Juyeon answered

"I was wondering if Ayumi is here?"

"In her room. You can go to her if you want" Juyeon said and opened the door widely for me

I nodded and went upstairs. I saw her room that has a butterfly drawing near the doorknob. I knocked but no one answered. What is she doing? She should open the door-

"Yeona" she said as she opened the door

I went inside and closed the door "You cried"

She smiled "I did. I can't help it. It's fucking hurt"

"I'm sorry I wasn't here yesterday to comfort you. I just found out earlier from Hyunjin. I am really sorry, Ayumi. He told me about what happened because Felix told them"

"Stupid" she whispered and chuckled "How come he confessed to them about what he did? When I am trying my best to hide it so no one will know... It was useless. I was controlling myself not to tell you because I don't want you to know about what he did. This is crazy"

"Ayumi-"

She started crying and fell on the floor on her knees "I don't want him to let me go. We talked last night, I thought he will fix everything between us. I was wrong... I was hoping last night he will beg me to come back to him and fix everything. I waited for him to say it but he didn't. Yeona, I want him back"

I kneeled to be on the same level as her and hugged her tight "You can fix it but not now. You two have a lot of thoughts and you guys need to fix yourselves. You will end up hurting each other if you two will suddenly fix everything. Just focus on yourself now and fix it after, okay?"

"Do you think he will wait for me? I am scared he will fall in love with someone else" Ayumi whispered

"Felix loves you a lot. I know it"
