THE DEBT

Trinity stayed the night in Sarah's room and by the time they got up it was just the two of them and Wheezie left in the house.

Trinity had borrowed one of Sarah's white mini dresses that she could wear to work and was doing Wheezie's hair down in the kitchen.

Wheezie was sat in the center of the kitchen on a stool while also eating a pot of peach yogurt.

"I heard Rafe slamming doors this morning on his way out," Wheezie piped up.

"Oh yeah?" Trinity didn't care if he was angry but hated how explosive he got. She frowned as Wheezie continued.

"Mhm, did you two have an argument or something?"

Trinity paused for a minute, "Yeah you could say that, Rafe is just being a jerk at the minute."

Wheezie smiles sympathetically, Rafe and Wheezie had a good relationship so Wheezie often knew a lot of the ins and outs between Trinity and Rafe. "You know he does love you,"

Trinity stays silent for a minute. "I know he does, he's just...difficult." She says, carefully picking her words.

"According to Rose, Rafe has always had some sort
of issue growing up, whatever ever I just hope you can figure it out with him. I love that you're part of our family."

Trinity's heart felt warm, "I hope we can figure it out too, okay I have just the right section to trim, and then I'll be off to work."

After waiting patiently Trinity was done and ready to go, "I'll tell Sarah you went to work,"

"Thanks, Sneezie," Trinity smiles and hugs Wheezie before she leaves in her car.

Trinity was let out early from her shift, she was glad since she had a horrible hangover from the night before.

After driving around in silence and letting the wind fill the car Trinity decided it was time that she sees her Dad more often. She drove straight to Charlotte's and packed a backpack full of things that she'd just leave at her Dad's as a spare.

Unsurprisingly her Mother wasn't in but she left a note, not that it would make any difference whether Charlotte read it or not.

"Dad?" She calls out, leaving her backpack on the kitchen counter. "Dad?"

She looks around the kitchen and pours the half-empty glass of water down the drain and a plate covered in crumbs in the sink.

She figured that Matt probably went to Heyward's or was maybe out at work on the docks so she took her backpack and went down the hallway to her room.

Trinity's room was painted a pale cream color with wooden floors and a white rug in the middle. She had a double bed with a black metal frame and about seven pillows.

On one side of her bed was a white vanity that she remembered begging her Dad to get for her, instead he built it from scratch and Trinity loved it.

Her closet was one of those that were in the wall with a slidey door.

She quickly put all her new stuff away and went around the house cleaning it all top to bottom.
