ONE OR THE OTHER

"Come on," Sarah and Trinity both sprint down the docks where there was the swarm of police all staring at the My Druthers boat. "Dad?!"

The police are not happy with letting them through but they all put their hands up and continued walking, "You gotta let us through,"

"That's Sarah Cameron. Let her through!" Shoupe tells the cops and they let the kids walk with no question.

"What are you doing here, Sarah?" Ward shouts from the boat.

"Dad, what are you doing?" Sarah shouts, squeezing Trinity's hands as she does so.

"Vic, get Sarah and Trinity out of here, they can't be here right now!" Ward pleads.

Shoupe offers Ward to come to the docks to talk, "Just come on in, and you can talk to Sarah, you can talk to Trin, take her down to see Rafe, everything can be talked through!"

"Sarah, I'm so sorry baby, I can't!" Ward shouts, turning around and pulling the anchor up.

"Ward, you can't just leave!" Trinity shouts, using her free hand to shield her eyes from the sun.

"Trinity I wish it was that easy, honey,"

"Dad! What?! No!" Sarah begs.

Police boats soon start quickly sailing towards the Druthers, making Ward panic more. "Ward, this ain't gonna end the way you want it to!" Shoupe shouts.

The Pogues felt really out of place and that they shouldn't be here right now, witnessing all of this.

"You don't need the kids seeing this!"

"Oh my God," Trinity mumbles.

Ward climbs down the ladder and disappears inside the boat, "I love you!" He shouts.

"No! Dad don't leave!" Sarah's voice cracks, "Where are you going?!"

"Damn it, Ward! Turn it around and get back here!" Shoupe instructs him but Ward was long gone.

"Please don't leave!"

The sirens continue wailing and the two girls wish that Ward would have just listened to Shoupe. And then from the inside a bright light and a loud deafening explosion caused the entire boat to set on fire. Trinity and Sarah gasped watching the big thick cloud of smoke, ash and fire spread out and into the sky. Everyone ducked so they weren't hit with flying bits of the boat.

"No, Dad!" Sarah screamed. She couldn't breathe and started hyperventilating. "Dad!"

"Come here," Trinity, who too was crying from shock pulled Sarah close.

Sarah was sobbing and wailing causing Trinity to cry more. They cried together and Trinity couldn't bear to look at the remains of the boat.

Topper was running down the docks and saw the two girls crying together, so he hugged the other side of Sarah as she sunk to the ground crying her heart out, "Dad!"

John B, Pope, JJ and Kiara just stared straight at the burning boat in shock

"It's okay," Topper whispered.

Sarah stayed home so Wheezie wouldn't be alone and John B took the rest back to his. But Trinity didn't linger. She got out of the Twinkie and then straight into her car. She didn't want to see Rafe but didn't want him to be going through this alone at this second.

"Where are you going?" JJ calls out but Kie takes his arm,

"Leave her, she's probably still in shock after what she just saw."
