ANTI-ANXIETY

Back down by the winery, Rafe was on the other side of the door, resting against it patiently waiting for Trinity to stop shouting and throwing bottles.

Rose approached Rafe from upstairs after dealing with Sarah, "Who's that - is that Trinity?" She whispered after quickly recognising the voice.

Rafe nods and puts his head against the door.

"Why is she in there?"

"Because I put her there," Rafe looks to Rose. "Sometimes you have to make the hard choice."

"I mean why is she here," Rose points to the ground,

Rafe shrugs, "That's what I'm trying to find out but she needs to calm down first!" Rafe says the end of his sentence significantly louder so Trinity could hear through the door. Then he turns his head quickly to Rose, "You trusted Sarah, on her own?"

Rose lowers her voice, "I gave her tea with anti-anxiety meds that make you drowsy,"

"Let me out! Please, Rafe, open the door!"

"I can't open this door until you - not until you stop throwing shit," He paused mid-sentence as Trinity kicked at the door several times.

"I'll be back," Rafe says quietly and walks away.

"Trinity, sweetie?" Rose calls through the door, with her hand hovering above the key.

"Rose?! Rose please let me out!" She begged.

"I want to - I'm going to come in okay, and you can tell me everything and I'm going to help you but I need you to promise me you'll be calm,"

"Yes! I promise Rose, I promise!" She says frantically, backing away from the door.

"Okay, honey," Rose says quietly, turning the key and opening the door.

Trinity was stood there, shaking with a tear-stained face.

"Rose please let me go, I'm scared and...and I don't want to be anywhere near Rafe,"

Rose closed the door, "Baby, Rafe would never do anything to hurt you, I know that for a fact," She steps over to Trinity and gently holds her face, wiping her tears.

"I just..." Trinity paused and looked down. "I just don't know who Rafe is anymore,"

"Okay Trinity I'm going to come back I promise you I will not be long—"

"Rose no please." Trinity tried to stop Rose from leaving through the door but was unsuccessful and began pounding at the locked door again.

"Let me out! Rose! Rafe! Please - Wheezie! Anyone please!" Trinity slid down the door and curled into a ball.

Rafe was standing on the other side of the door and heard most of the conversation but his mind was blank, he didn't know what to say or think. So he just walked away to deal with everything else.
