TRIAL

"Morning, Tee." Tyler stands in the doorway. It was a few days later and recently Tyler had been getting regular calls from his Dad about what was going on since it was the biggest incident on the Outer Banks.

Trinity didn't sleep all night, she barely slept ever. She was so out of the loop it was driving her insane.

"Morning,"

"Dad called me."

Trinity looks at him, "He did?"

Tyler nods, "You need to go back, John B has a trial tomorrow...and you've missed loads of school."

Trinity shakes her head. "I can't."

Tyler folds his arms and exhales loudly while thinking to himself, "Do you want me to come with you? I'll stay for a bit," He suggests.

"You would do that?"

Tyler smiles. "I'd do anything for you. Come on let's pack your things we need to leave as soon as we can."

Tyler walks in and reaches for the suitcase and the two fill it up with Trinity's belongings.

"I'm gonna go pack my shit, just make sure you're ready," Tyler says, ruffling his hand on her hard messing up her hair as he leaves.

The sibling duo ended up leaving that night. They backed their shit into the trunk of Tyler's dark blue convertible Mustang and were headed to one place. The Outer Banks.

After a long day of driving and stopping at a few drive-thru's on the way Trinity's eyes finally lit up after seeing the Outer Banks, Paradise on Earth sign. "We're here," She grins and her eyes began to water with joy.

Tyler glanced at his little sister, "Hey, don't be such a wimp," He says playfully, "Am I driving to Mom's?"

Trinity nods. Charlotte went away on some trip and didn't specify exactly when she was coming back so for all they know it still could be empty. They soon found out that it was in fact empty after pulling into the driveway and seeing no cars in the driveway or lights turned on.

"Her daughter's apparently died at sea and she doesn't come back from vacation? Wow, some Mom," Trinity says to herself while going to unlock the door with the code. She puts in the four-digit number and waits for the beep, unlocking the door.

Tyler follows her in carrying all the bags and leaving them in the foyer, "Man, I haven't been here in so long," He chuckles. "I feel bad for leaving Chelsea,"

"Yeah, I don't understand why you didn't tell her to come," Trinity cocks her head to the side. Trinity liked her brother's girlfriend.

"You would have been cool with that?"

"Yeah?" Trinity says with a light laugh, "Anyway, you explore I'm going to finally transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone and shower and sleep,"

The Von Thorne siblings were both sitting in the Mustang driving to where the trail was being placed. Trinity looked out the window and frowned to see it was barely sunny anymore but she loved autumn, you could always dress the best in autumn which is why it was her favourite month.

"You ready for your grand entrance?" Tyler grinned at his sister, parking the car.

Trinity was buzzing, she was about to see her friends for the first time in a long time. The two of them got out and walked up the pathway ready. Trinity looked down and fixed her skirt and her sweater and then pushed the door open.
