DIARY

The next morning JJ went into the living room and woke Trinity up, "Trin, Trin, I'm sorry for yesterday,"

Trinity sat up with her eyes still shut, "What?" She was confused and still wasn't fully understanding of what was going on.

"Come on open your eyes," JJ rubbed her arm and gently shook her, "I just really needed to say that I'm sorry."

"You don't have anything to be sorry for JJ," She whispered, rubbing her eyes. "I'm sorry for messing with how you felt,"

JJ shook his head, "You haven't. I've been thinking about it for a while and it sort of makes sense, you and Rafe have so much history of course you're still going to care for him...I just miss what he had before it all went to shit,"

Trinity nodded, she missed it too. "Just forget about it, JJ, come here." She pulled him down onto the sofa bad and cuddled up to him.

"You know...during the whole time you were gone it really made it clear to me how much you mean to be, and that I..." JJ rambled off. He had never once confessed his deep and genuine feelings to someone. "Nothing, don't worry," He looked away as he felt his cheeks turn red.

Trinity took her lower lip between her teeth, "No, say," She sat up properly and looked at him.

He sighed, "You know what I want to say, Tee,"

"No I don't," She shakes her head playing dumb.

"Then let me show you," JJ takes Trinity by the jaw, kissing her.

She shifted her position and pulls away, "Oh, now I know,"

"Yeah..."

Trinity flipped her hair and kissed him on the cheek, "Yeah, me too, JJ,"

"You too...?" He asks, with a smile stretching across her face.

"Yeah, but I'm tired so I'm going back to sleep," She says, laying back down and pulling the blankets over them both.

"Does this make us official?" He asks.

Trinity laughed, "I'm going to sleep now, JJ,"

"Okay, well, that's a yes to me." He says closing his eyes too and pulling her closer.

Trinity and JJ stayed in bed all day long. Nothing was happening that made them feel that they had to get up. It was the weekend and Pope and Kiara were both home, John B was sitting with Trinity and JJ talking about how Sarah decided to end things between them but, JJ and Trinity told him that her Dad had just died so maybe, she just couldn't focus on a relationship.

And so they all laid together on the sofa bed and watched a movie off of Trinity's phone until the other two got back.

Trinity, JJ and Kiara were all rolling blunts together while Pope and John B were outside, laying on the Pogue talking about life together.

"I don't get it," John B sighs, "Trin and J said it was because Ward died and it messed everything in her head up,"

"It would make sense." Pope says gently, placing his arm on his forehead, "Love is five minutes of pleasure, for a lifetime of pain."

"Wow," John B whispered.

"Lucky for Trinity and JJ it's worked out for them," Pope says, enviously.

"They're not officially together Pope,"

Pope nods, "Yeah, have you not heard, they talked everything out."

John B was happy for JJ, but couldn't exactly show it. "Lucky them. Anyway, you and Kie, talk to me." John B props himself up with his elbow and shakes his beer can, seeing if there's anything left inside.
