WAR

After officially finding the Merchant and but no gold everyone was disappointed but Trinity had to go back from the Cut to Figure Eight where she went and sat in the dining room on her own. She wanted to check in on her Mom and are how she was, that was the reason she told everyone around her but deep down; she wanted to be there in case Rafe stopped by.

"I have to leave, business trip." Charlotte walks into the dining room while slipping on gold bangles on her wrists.

Trinity's eyes don't leave her book, "Okay."

"You're seventeen, you'll manage,"

"I'll probably be at Dad's anyway."

Charlotte hums and shuts the door, leaving her daughters bedroom.

"Mom!" She exclaims waiting for her to come back, "What about Midsummers?"

"Oh! I forgot about that, well, I have to see people anyway but straight after I'll be off."

"Okay."

After a few hours of being on her own, waiting for Rafe to possibly show there was finally a knock at the door.

Trinity put her book down and head out to the ground floor. She opens the door and is confused to see Kiara, alone.

"Kie,"

"They're doing that movie thing, shall we go and convince the boys to come with us?" She offers.

"Would they want to?"

Kie shrugs, "We'll make them come anyway, let's go."

Trinity looks down her driveway in case Kie had bought her car but instead, she saw a bicycle propped up against her garage door.

"Let me get my keys, come in."

"Is your Mom home?" Kie asks following Trinity inside.

"No she just went out and then right after Midsummers she's going on a trip," Trinity walks towards the stairs, "I have to go to my room but you can just do whatever - there are snacks in the kitchen and the pantry!" She calls out.

The two sit in the car talking about Midsummers while on the way to pick up the boys.

"So what are you wearing to Midsummers."

Trinity sighs, "Me and Rafe we're meant to be matching, me and Charlotte we're supposed to go and host it with the Camerons."

"Are you still going to go?"

"Well yeah, I'm gonna have to."

Kie smiles sympathetically, "Sorry, that can't be easy."

Trinity shakes it off, "At least the dress is pretty."

"I'm so glad they're still doing this. Keep calm. Carry on. Back to OBX life, aren't you glad we made you come?"

"Ecstatic," Pope says flatly.

"My couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest," JJ adds,

While Kie and Trinity found a place to sit with all their things Pope turns to JJ and whispers, "We're out of the green zone, man."

"Dude, tranquilo, okay?"

"We're in the middle of Kooklandia, this is the last place I wanna be."
