Her full name. Serena had no clue why Connor knowing her name made her so mad. But it did.

She parked her car and got out, walking into her home before her neighbor got home from the meeting.

The morning sun still gilded the sky in a soft gold making her skin warm. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair trying to let the stressed balled up inside of her fizzle out.

She couldn't let this guy get to her, it was all to clear to her that it's what he wanted to do. Maybe she could just resume her life as before, all she had to do was ignore him?

That couldn't be hard...right?

Serena walked into her kitchen, greeted by her cat, Mayo, meowing at her.

She chuckled as he jumped up on the island and pushed into her arm. Serena par his head, "one moment and I'll get you lunch."

She reached into the pantry and scooped up some dry food when she heard the annoying loud engine of Connor's sports car.

It reeved and she rolled her eyes as she stared at the black chargers lights go out and the engine silence. Connor got out of the car and stretched.

Serena meant to peel her eyes away but when she saw his big muscular arms tighten and flex, she couldn't.

The bottom hem of his shirt rode up as he stretched his arms. Exposing the chiseled v line and little trail of hair disappearing into his pants. She inhaled deeply and stared intently at the very bottom of his cut out abs as warmth erupted throughout her.

Connor grabbed his elbow and pulled it behind his head slightly, showing off his large arms and making Serena's throat dry.

Mayo's annoyed meows behind her made her jump slightly, catching his eyes through the window. Connor shot her a satisfied smirk making her spin around and avoid his gaze.

She blushed, embarrassed and slightly repulsed at herself.

Mayo mewled at her angrily and she poured the cup of food in her dish, "I'm sorry I'm sorry!"

She knelt down and pet her cat sighing, "don't tell anyone your mom just eyed up the neighbor...And I'll give you wet food everyday."

Mayo was too busy stuffing his face to register his owners guilty pleas. Serena laughed at herself and peaked out the window, no sign of Connor outside, so she stood up and walked into her living room.

"I have to clean up my flowers at some point today, my poor petunias have been sitting in puke." She said to herself and glanced out her floor to ceiling windows that faced Connors house.

If she was going to truly ignore him she had to stop walking on egg shells in her own home, afraid to go outside or even get her mail.
