_____________
Serena hated the fact that whenever Connor is around her, eyes are drawn to her.

She worked so hard to not be perceived by anyone as Serena Jade. Only Skylyn Voss.

That's why she wrote, Skylyn could be viewed and adored by millions. She could handle that. She could create the words that so many people read and loved and studied.

But she didn't think Serena could ever live in that, she didn't think she was good enough to wear Skylyn's clothes.

So those lives would stay separate.

But of course, whenever Connor Deluca fumbled his way into her life to piss her off, people looked at her.

She wasn't used to that, the uncomfortable feeling and nerves it brought made her retreat into herself.

While at the same time, he tempted her out of her shell, filling her with desires she'd never experienced before. Never craved so intensely.

The conflicting emotions were driving her crazy, Serena was just sure of one thing, she hated him.

And of course he just had to put her on Franks bad side.

Serena got home and sighed, she closed her front door by leaning back into it until her head softly touched the wood.

She groaned and slid down it till she sat on the cool floor. She leaned her head on her knees and blew a strand of hair out of her face while she settled into her quiet comforting home.

Serena was socially spent for the day, maybe the rest of the week.

She was going to drag herself out of the house to get groceries for the first time in months, she usually got her groceries shopped for her, but she decided she wasn't gonna break that streak this week.

Mayo came trotting down the stairs meowing up a storm.

Serena laughed and watched as her cat walked over to her quickly, mushing his face into her leg and purring as loud as Connor's car.

"Hey bud, missed you too." She pet him for a minute and stood up.

Serena took off her hoodie and pulled on a cardigan over her sleek black t-shirt. The neckline was too low cut for her to wear comfortably out, so she wore her hoodie.

"Time to write mayo, c'mon." She put on her house slippers and tried to wind Connor out of her mind, trying her hardest to push his strong arms and sultry voice out of her head and desires.

Mayo followed her proudly into her office, trotting behind her into the room as she shut the door.

Serena got comfortable in her seat and got to work writing, her fingers tapped violently away at her keyboard till she was completely lost in the worlds she was creating with her words.
