Chapter 6: Revealing Secrets

P.O.V Lauren

It's been three days since Ally and I last saw each other, I started to get annoyed at that, the distance between me and Ally.

I took a long shower and ate a quick snack before getting in my car and heading to the hospital.  I arrived at the reception and gave my name and told which room I was going to, they released me without much fuss, I think Justin had talked to them since the last time I stepped in that place.  I walked into the room and saw Ally sitting beside her body with her head down.

- Allyson?

- Yes?

- I was worried about you and .... Miss you.

- Did you miss me?

- Yeah, I know it's weird.

- Really.

- I wish I could hug you...

- Lauren, what's gotten into you?

- Why?

- Since yesterday you've been sweet, something you're not.

- Are you calling me sour, shorty?

- Your mirror doesn't tell you that?  How fake.

- Fool.  So... How are things?

- Brandon came here the day before yesterday and yesterday, he's worried.  Vital signs remain the same, neither decrease nor increase, I am dead weight.

- Allycat, don't say that...

- It's the truth Laur.

- You'll get out of this, if not, I already have a plan.

- What plan?

- Forget it... Your brother liked me.

- At least that

I sat down beside her body and kissed her forehead tenderly.

- Let's go out?

- Want to go out with a spirit?

- I want to go out with Ally Brooke.

She gave a wide smile and left her body, I got up giving her a kiss on the face and we left.

We took my car and drove to Central Park, she looked at me with affection and it took me apart completely, I was creating feelings for that little girl.

- Allyson, how old are you?  12?

I laughed low and she looked at me Bravinha crossing her arms.

- Moron!

- Seriously short.

- I'm 22 years old.  Is that you?

- I am 19 years old.

We walked across the lawn and smiled like two fools, we sat at the foot of a tree that had a view of the sunset and pink clouds, far from everyone.

- Lauren?

She said lying on my chest.

- Yes?

- If I don't wake up from that coma... What are you going to do?

-I'll do what Romeo did for Juliet, I'll do what Edward tried to do when he thought his beloved was dead.

- Lauren please...

- Ally, I never believed in love... I had a horrible life before I met my fiancée.

- Horrible how?

- I used drugs, drank a lot, went out with several girls and turned sleepless nights causing discord in the world.  But then I met Camila and it was love at first sight, we fought a lot with our families but in the end our love was stronger.  She changed me completely.

- Lauren... What happened to her?

I took a long breath and looked at her lying on my chest.

- We were engaged for a year, dated for two years.  We were in the car talking about wedding preparations and kids, the light turned red and she said she loved me, giving me a long, loving kiss... Oh... I heard a loud horn and before I could do it something, I felt a strong impact and saw everything spin... When I realized I saw her body bleeding a lot and she unconscious a little far from me, I used my last strength and called the doctor.

I took a deep breath feeling the tears burn my face.

- Then?

- So I waited for the ambulance to arrive, they wanted to help me first but I begged them to save her.  They took her first and then they took me and then I passed out... When I woke up I was at the doctor and they didn't want to talk to me about her until the day I got better... That's when they told me she had died that morning of July 9th .  I wanted to kill myself, I started cutting myself and drinking a lot.

- Lauren I'm sorry...

- Okay... After so long of anguish I met you and came back to life, I felt alive again.  I came back to me.... Falling in love.

- Are you serious?

She propped herself up on one elbow and looked at me.

- Yes Ally, I'm serious.  I can't ask you to feel the same...

- Do not need

- Why?

- Because I already feel Lauren.

- Right now I wish I could touch you and kiss you.  Take you to a jewelry store and buy a beautiful ring.

- I wanted to be real.

The phone rang in my pocket and Brandon's number came to life.

- It's Brandon.

- What does he want and how does he get his number?

- What he wants I don't know... I gave him my number.

- Pick up soon.

- Hello?

"Lauren, hey..." He said on the other end of the line.

- Hi Brandon.

"What's up?"  He said.

- Well... Just worried about Ally.

"Do you want to come to the house for dinner today?"  He said and Ally looked at me.

- Sure, what time?

"I'll pick you up at 9:00, okay?"  he said.

- Okay.

I turned off my cell phone and Ally looked at me.

-Her brother invited me to dinner with him and his family.

- Try to find out about my parents.

- I won't try anything, you come with me.

- Which?

- Of course Ally.

- But Laur...

- But nothing, let's go home my angel, I have to get ready.

- Okay boring.

- Let's go short.

We left the park and went to my car, driving home.

- Lauren...

- No more Ally.  You come with me and that's it.

- Damn it.

She huffed and I laughed… I was more into Ally's life than usual.
