Chapter 17: Who are you? Who am I?

P.O.V Lauren

I looked towards the monitors and then looked at Ally who opened her eyes slowly and stared at the ceiling with a confused expression.

- Ally!

I said happy and saw Lea look at me reprehensibly.  I stopped my steps before they started.

- Lauren, get Darren out of here and take him to Normani, she'll know what to do.  I will review Ally carefully.

- Will not be long.

I grabbed that bastard by the collar and started dragging him down the halls to Normani's office, seeing some patients and doctors looking at us scared.  I reached Normani's room tossing Darren still bleeding on his floor.  Normani gave me an amused look and took off her glasses, dropping her paperwork on the table and giving her applause.

- Wow in Jauregui... I expected something worse.  By the way, the operating room is not here.

She joked as Darren sat on the floor and stared at us with a psychopath expression.

"I would have done something worse to the point of sending him to the ER, but just in time... Well... Ally woke up."

- Which?!

- That's right Mani, Ally woke up.

- And what are you still doing here?!  Go see your wife!

- What are you going to do with the asshole?

Before Normani could speak, Darren spoke.

- I'm still here, you know?!

I kicked him in the stomach and saw him try to pull the air back into his body, failing to curse me.

“You deure lucky Ally got better, or sheiad kill you and sting you with a scalpel.

- Lucky Darren, anyway... Lauren, you're going to be with Ally before I ask you to kill this bastard.

- And what are you going to do with him?

- Hand him over to the authorities.

- That's not enough for him...

- No... My old friends from police work will teach him a lesson.

I smiled contentedly and hugged Normani before running out of her living room and into the room where Ally was.  I went in and saw Lea checking her reflexes who looked very happy, of course, waking up after a coma for months was even reason for her to show that beautiful smile.

- Ally...

Her face turned towards me and I saw her looking at me confused.

- Ally, you know who this is... don't you?

- A newcomer to the team?  She was on my case.

Lea looked at me scared and whispered a "sorry", my legs weakened and I gave a nervous laugh running my hand through my hair.

- Ally you silly, stop these thanks love.

- Love?

The girl looked at me more confused and looked at Lea who was still watching the scene with a tense expression.

- Ally... Do you know who I am?!

- A doctor?

- No Ally, I'm your girlfriend.

- No it's not... I don't like women, I... I don't even have time to date guys, let alone girls.

I moved closer to Ally trying to take her hand and saw her pull away from my touch.
