Singto was a mess and yet refused to get first aid as he followed the gurney that had Arthit, unconscious and fighting for his life.

He knew in his heart that Arthit was OK.. if not he'd have felt something..he knew he was OK!! He will wake up!!

The nurse wheeled him into the intensive care and stopped Singto from following. He couldn't go in, only medical personnel were allowed in there..

He started pacing the floor in front of the door as P'wave watched him worriedly..

"Sing u need to get checked for injuries.." he started only to be met by Singto's intense glare.

"My injuries are nothing compared to his life P'...I can't leave till I know he's OK.." he felt tears pricking the corner of his eyes and tried to blink them away.."till someone tells me he s breathing...I...I..can't.." and he broke down at the very thought..

P'wave hugged him, gently rubbing his back.

"Sing..shhh...kit s a strong boy..he ll make it out fine..calm down.."

"I know he's, OK!!...he's OK!!!" Singto chanted softly as he hugged P'wave and let his grief out..

Two hours passed...nurses and attenders had been in and out of the room but none answered their worried queries..no one even gave a nod of hope..

Singto was broken as he sat slumped on the chair in the corridor, watching the door emotionless..

Kanya had taken the first flight available after she had handled the situation in the main office. She came rushing in, but froze in her tracks as she saw the empty shell that was Singto.  Eyes red from tears, bruises littering his face and arms, clothes soiled and torn in places. Wat worried her most was those eyes that stared at the door, lifeless yet unflinching in their gaze..like they could make Arthit walk out alive and well with just their intensity..

Just then the door opened and the Doctor emerged. Immediately Singto, Kanya and Wave went towards him. Singto was the first to reach him and he gripped the man's arms.

"Khun Mor..he's OK right? He's alive na? Is he breathing?" When the man just looked at him, he began shaking him..

Wave had to hold him and pull him away, so that the doctor could freely explain Arthit's situation.

"The patient was subjected to high levels of electricity but thankfully none of his organs were burnt or damaged. But the intensity of current has caused him to go into a coma. We have resuscitated him and put him on life support. We can only hope he ll wake up soon. I cannot say when he ll wake up though. Keep talking to him and act normal and cheerful. It may help to be around familiar people so he may respond and wake up."

Once he heard that Singto collapsed, right in Wave's arms he sagged as, exhaustion and the relief of knowing that Arthit is OK took over.

He was taken to a separate room and his injuries were looked into. He was sedated for two days to give his body the much needed rest.

On the third day he was by Arthit's side. When the doctors were satisfied with Arthit's physical progress, Singto had him air transferred to the best hospital in Bangkok.

Singto put his studies on hold and spent every waking and sleeping hour next to Arthit. He recounted all their childhood pranks and escapades, talking non stop in the hopes that Arthit would wake up.

He never left Arthit's side and took over taking care of him fully from the hospital staff. He gave him sponge baths and changed him. Cleaned him up and turned him over on the bed. Read him stories and medical journals. Even showed him pictures and videos of his friends on his phone.
