Sapnap's pov

I groan, slowly peeling my eyes open as cramps ache through my entire body, a pounding headache setting in almost instantly as my eyes open and look around the room.

"Fuck.." I whisper to myself, the pressure in my head building as the headache gets worse. I must have fell asleep whilst editing again last night.

"Hey.. you awake yet?" Dream asks softly, knocking on the door.

My throat burns each time I swallow and as I go to speak louder to him, I break out in to a coughing fit.

"I take that as a yes, you feeling okay?" Dream asks as he sets a mug of coffee down on my desk.

"No worse than usual.." I croak out before coughing and digging the palms of my hands in to my eyes.

"I'll get you some Tylenol, are you okay to stream?" Dream asks and I hum.

"Thanks for the coffee" I mumble out and he hums before kissing the top of my head.

"Okay, I'll be back in a second" Dream says before quietly leaving me be. He soon returns with some pills for me to take and I do.

"Thanks.." I mumble out after swallowing the pills down with some coffee.

"The boys are in a call already waiting.. it's noon.. would you like food before streaming?" Dream asks and I shake my head.

"I'll be okay, I'll eat after" I say softly and he nods with a hum.

"Alright, join the discord soon.. we've gotta get on with things today" he says softly and I nod.

"Yeah.. let me just load things up" I say softly and he nods before leaving my room.

He quietly shuts the door behind himself and I whimper in pain. I cough, sniffling as I begin to log in to all my stuff, waking it all back up.

I join into the discord call, the volume of everyone's voices and everything does not help my headache. Not one bit.

"Sapnap! Ay man!" Quackity exclaims after hearing me cough accidentally down the mic.

"You sick?" Karl asks and I shake my head before realising they can't see me.

"No.. just didn't sleep much, got lots to do" I say with a rough voice, my throat is scratchy and painful.

"You sound sick.." Karl says softly and I groan.

"I'm fine Karl.." I say with a huff and he quietly sighs.

"Alright.. you ready to stream?" Quackity asks and I hum.

"Yeah, let me just set up face cam and then we can start" I say tiredly and they give me short hums or okays.

I set it up and then load up twitch, beginning to set my stream up. Once it's ready, I tweet about going live and start it up. I talk to the guys with a starting soon screen up as people flow in for the stream.

I occasionally cough or sneeze in to my elbow as I try to get through the stream. My voice cracks and breaks a lot, causing the others to make fun of me.

"I am, I don't feel ill okay!" I say with a forced smile. "I only have a minor headache so I've taken Tylenol okay chat, I'm looking after myself" I then say and Dream scoffs.

"That's why I brought you coffee whilst you slept at you desk for the ninth day in a row.. you need to take better care of yourself. You need a break man" Dream says and I groan.

"I'm fine.. let me go get a bottle of water to stay hydrated and we can finish off this stream.. I promise I'll have something to eat after and finish off some stuff. I will sleep in my own bed today" I say and Dream hums.

"Sure.. we'll see about that" Dream says, being in complete disbelief.

"Oh shut up" I mutter out before getting up to go get water. My throat hurts and I've finished my coffee so, it's hydration time.

I sit back in my chair, sipping my water before putting the bottle down and turning back to the game.

My voice breaks as I speak and scream, I fall in to a coughing fit after letting our a scared shriek. Okay, the nether is a scary place.

"See! You're ill! You go all pale but rosy cheeked when you get ill, you probably have a fever.. let me check" Dream says softly and I huff, sniffling from sneezing.

"I'm fine!" I exclaim, voice breaking and my throat sore.

"You're not! It's not being weak to get ill.. let me come and at least check for a fever" he says softly and I nod.

"Fine.. but I feel fine!" I exclaim and Dream scoffs.

"Yeah, we'll see about that when you're displaying a high fever and I'm forcing you to sit in bed with soup!" Dream says and I can already hear him shuffling around to find stuff.

Soon he comes in to my room with two things, a thermometer and a box of lateral flow tests for covid.

"No! I don't have covid! I haven't even left the house!" I exclaim and he huffs.

"I'm being safe.. just, tongue up and let's check for a fever" Dream says and I huff, reluctantly letting him take my temperature.

We wait for the beep before he takes it back out and sighs.

"103⁰ you're ill Sapnap" Dream says softly and I nod with a tired sigh. "Covid test time.. then we'll end this stream and get you in to an actual bed" he says and I pout.

He sets out the stuff before getting the swab out.

"Mouth, open" he says with a smirk and I cringe at the stick before opening my mouth and flattening my tongue out.

He gently grabs my chin, swabbing the back of my throat before doing up my nose. He then puts it in the liquid, twirls it round. He takes it out and puts it in a plastic bag before doing the drippy bit for the test stick.

We wait until the results come through and it's negative, as I said.

"See! I don't have covid.. probably just a cold" I say softly and Dream nods.

"Now, goodbye chat.. bed time" he says softly and I nod.

"Bye chat.. I'll stream again soon!" I exclaim, coughing as my throat burns.

I end stream and Dream practically pulls me in to bed. He goes and gets fever medication and everything before making me food and leaving me to nap. Apparently I really needed to sleep or some shit like that. Not surprised, I've got like no sleep in me.

I sleep for hours before Dream comes to wake me for more food. Something around fourteen hours of sleep.
