Timeskip because the storyline is too long and this book isn't about all this fighting between the Chimera's and Hunters, so we'll go to where either Meruem and Netero start their fight and when Pitou finishes healing Komugi

The King waited patiently as Zeno's Spirit Nen Dragon took them a place far from the palace. He was hanging there with his tail wrapped around the foot as Netero examined him. He was thinking a lot.

After a few seconds, the dragon began to disappear, telling the two they have made it far from the palace. They looked down to see rocky plains and hills. This would do as a fighting ground.

When they both hit the ground, causing bangs, Netero looked over at the King who had his back turned to the Master Hunter.

"This is a test site for military weapons." Netero began to speak. "Which means we won't need to restrain ourselves." The Chimera then turned around to look at him. He just looked... kind of angry, but didn't sound angry.

"Why do you and I have to fight?" He asked making Netero's mouth fall open.

"HUH!?"

"You have absolutely no chance of defeating me. There is no need for us to hase in you inevitable death."

Netero just stared at the Chimera Ant King. He then scratched his ear.

"Saying I can't win is pretty presumptuous of you. I can tell you don't know squat about me." He then looked at his finger and blew at it quickly. "If you judge a book by its cover, don't be surprised if you get burned." Netero was now serious as the King's expression didn't change once.

"You got it wrong. You don't seem like some ordinary man who can't read the state of the battle. I was born for one reason... and that is to rule this world. Originally, you pathetic humans were no more than livestock to me. But I've changed my mind. I have sensed determind, that there are some humans that are worth keeping alive. Like those girls for example. You are worthy as well. I can sense it."  The King Chimera Ant took a glance up to the night, cloudy sky. 'I'll be back soon, (Y/N)...'. He then looked back down at Netero who was looking at him. "If you'll back down this instant... then I will consider sparing you." How thoughtful of him.

"You're saying you'll spare me and not the others. Is that right?" Netero asked, his aura appearing around him, only white at the moment since he is now getting prepared to fight. "Given my unique position, I simply can't accept that offer." The King just stared at Netero's actions. His tail was sticking up, showing that he'll be ready to defend himself if needed.

Back at the palace, Pouf was told to stay in the same room as Gon, Pitou, (Y/N) and Komugi. He was staring at Pitou, his face full of evil, wanting to know what had exactly happened.

Pitou was sweating in fear and stress, afraid for the girls lives. She was afraid of Gon as well since his eyes were full of anger and determination of bringing back his friend that he had cared so much for in such little time. She stared at Pouf, blinked then at Gon, as he just stared at her.

She then told Pouf about what had happened after the attack, and all that had happened since they were seperated. Pitou however, made several points that she didn't want Gon to know, just to make sure his mind was focused on the explaination. She chose to leave the part where the King held Komugi because she didn't know how to capture the scene in the moment. There was no significant change in Gon in the end, but when she noticed that Gon's eyes wavered briefly, Pitou knew the plan had been a success.

(Y/N) looked down at Komugi and looked at her hands. She wanted to help, but she had to hide her true power for now. She knew Komugi will be ok, and that The King will return and take care of her while she will be away to save a Royal Guard.
