Only Yours (Meruem x Reader)

Chapter 12

As the battle of Netero and Meruem started, the man attacked first. The Hunter was floating in the air as he summoned his 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva, and did hand motions at an extremely fast rate. He then made his hands into two nine shapes. This attack was called 'Ninety-ninth Hand'.

As the hands of the golden statue swiftly charges towards the King, his own hands made contact with the much larger one as it was pushing him back. His feet caused the ground to break as he skidded across the ground. That was until his foot fell through the ground and the King and pushed into the ground and constantly slapped on by the attack... over and over again. It created a massive dust pile as only the shadow of the statue was seen.

However, the attack caused the ground below them to break into an underground area that was built by humans. A tomb... it's what Netero calls it anyway.

When both human and Chimera landed on the floor, they were both harmless. He waited for the dust to clear, still in his calm, battle position.

The King was kneeling on the floor, staring deadly at Netero as he stood tall.

"This is a tomb." The King's head raised a little at this. "Yours as a matter of fact."

At that very moment, everything turned black and white again as Netero unleashed another move. When Netero did movement with his right arm, the right arms of the statue moved and moved as Netero moved his arm. As the large, gold hand slided across the floor and pushed the King, he tried his best to stop it, but it was no use as he slipped and got pushed into the rocks and sent flying into the stone pillars. He crashed finally into the bottom of another pillar.

Netero landed on the ground a good few metres from him, in attack position again.

The Chimera Ant, stood up and his aura bursted around him, and his eyes glew red.

The Kimg constantly charged at Netero, but he was always slapped back over and over again, but he wouldn't give up one bit. He got very close to Netero, but was slapped away again as his ability, 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva grabbed the Chimera Ant in two hands, until the hands moved away and was slapped away again.

He landed in the middle of the pillow and gasped when Netero jumped and made a hand motion as the statue copied, driving the King into the pillar more. As soon as the hand moved away, he leaped at the human, but was again slapped away.

'That's it. The attack begins only after he brings his hands together. And from what I can tell... that's the only motion that surpasses my speed. Such wasteful movement can easily cause one's life in battle, but now... it works as a weapon that may allow him to defeat me. I won't waste precious time to guess what drove him to this. That would be pointless. A lesson such as this cannot be learned merely through logic or reason. No. He must've yield into an emotion someone came into insanity. For five years... perhaps as many as ten... he's must've devoted himself only to that purpose.' The King was slapped and punched into a pillow again. 'He is powerful, but I can win this battle and return to the palace to (Y/N) and Komugi. I sense something is wrong there'. "Now then. This display of power could never have been achieved without an incredible amount of and effort on your part, and I recognise that."

'All that and there's barely a scratch on him. Well... I expected as much.' Netero thought and stood up straight as the King walked slowly towards him.

"Even with training... you can still hit your limit. It happens to everyone. You are a rare example of one who's truly transcended that limit."

"Wah...?"

"I am impressed. I must commend you."

'Why you... little... insect like you should never talk down to humans!'
