    As this fanfiction is getting long_ish, and I find myself enjoying writing it too much, here are some defining details, as I  already roughly know how it is gonna go, and how it's gonna finish. Yet, it has been writing itself, like A LOT, as most of it is personal dreams and anxieties. 



    The story spans over a year of the life of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, who have been married for over 20 years now. It is mostly boring married life, and sex. 

    For convenience, I am using the common metric system, and the usual astronomical way of telling the time - e.g.: minutes, seconds, meters, weeks. I know that it was very different in ancient China - like, for example, a "week" was something like 10 days long, and they used to have an exquisite way of telling the time of the day, time of the week, time of the month, time of the year. It is elegant and beautiful, and I urge you all to check it out. I am not an expert in it, and I dare not dabble in things I  cannot check out thoroughly with trustworthy sources, so I am using what I know. I hope - if any Chinese fans read this - they will forgive me. No disrespect for their culture is meant, as I love it with all my heart. I am trying as hard as I can to stay true to the spirit of the time, and spirit of the franchise. 

    Two ships are described:  Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji/\  and  /\ Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen, as they are my favorites. Accent is put, of course, as the title also suggests, on #WANGXIAN.

    I wondered for a long time whether to make this FF a #mpreg story, but, as I have written such fanfiction in the past, and it got quite a lot of negative energy - I decided to keep it a bit more conventional.
