HAIKYUU ONE SHOTS!!

𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘛𝘰 𝘠𝘰𝘶 ☆ 𝘐𝘸𝘢𝘖𝘪

Little baby Tobio blinks, flopping around to rub his face against his pillow. He waits for a few seconds before raising his head, sitting down on his crib as his door creaks open, the humongous figure before him smiling as Tobio reaches out for him.

Followed by Hajime, they both make their way into their son's cot. "Good morning Tobio-chan~ You aren't a fussy waker are you?" Tooru coddles the baby boy, peppering him with kisses as he grips his shirt and quietly giggles.

"Pa-chan!"

"Hey where's my good morning kiss?" Hajime leans over and takes Tobio, blowing into his tummy as the young boy squeals with glee. "Not too loud, let's let your Aniki sleep a little longer," Tooru places a finger on his lip, approaching the diaper table to help Hajime change Tobio.

"Are you excited Tobio? It's your first picnic," Hajime rocks the baby boy before setting him down the table.

"I'll go get their clothes ready," Tooru gives Hajime's back a small tap before exiting the nursery, heading to his eldest son's room.

Knocking quietly, he peers his head in to see the blanketed figure softly breathing. He most likely slept late due to excitement so Tooru just decides to wake him up a little later.

Opening his closet quietly, he grabs his Akita-charactered bag and puts in extra underwear, a shirt and trousers, and a white towelette. Setting down Kentaro's favorite sweater and trousers gifted by his grandmother down the dresser he looks back at the still sleeping Kentaro, adjusting his alarm clock for another hour and a half.

Going down, Tooru starts to prepare the picnic dishes, pre-prepared by him and Hajime the night before. Heating up Tobio's milk, and making sandwiches for them, Tooru happily hums as he places them in lunchboxes.

Feeling an arm snake around his waist, Hajime sets his chin atop his shoulders, kissing Tooru's cheek, "Excited?"

"Mhm, it's their first picnic," Tooru ties the sandwich boxes tightly with a kitchen handkerchief, "I hope they enjoy today,"

"They will, Kentaro has been looking forward to it ever since he got that school memo,"

"I can't believe we waited for a school memo just to bring him to a picnic,"

"Well it's the only time we have," he sighs and starts swaying his hips with Tooru's humming, making him chuckle a bit.

"And as long as they're both eating well, there wouldn't be too much of a big issue,"

Pouting, Tooru turns to his husband, "Geez, the kids need extra attention too,"

"And we're giving it to them right now. Don't coddle them too much Tooru, they'll hate you,"

"Ugh, I know. In a blink of an eye they'd be embarrassed to even receive kisses from me," he sadly thinks before casing the chopsticks, spoons, and forks in the respective cases.

"I'd never be embarrassed to get kisses from you though," Hajime kisses his cheek, making Tooru roll his eyes before turning briefly and pecking him on the lips. "I know,"

The two look up in sync as small yet prominent footsteps thump against the wooden flooring of the second story, the two of them smiling at each other as Hajime sighs and lets go of Tooru. "Well, someone's awake,"

He peers over and sees Kentaro slowly making his way down the stairs. "Good morning buddy,"

"Are we leaving?" he asks, quite alarmed at the time as Hajime chuckles and sees his clumsy attempt at dressing himself up. "In a minute bud, let me help you with that," he beckons the young boy at the living room and fixes the pants, and tucks in his sweater.
