Sighing and rubbing his face to rid it of any scowls, Lev straightens his scarf and tries to nevermind the icky feeling in his chest, puffing it up before letting a small excited smile creep on his face.

Knocking on his boyfriend's door he hears shuffling a moment later, patiently standing by the entrance as he holds a box of chicken and four cans of Horoyoi in his hand with the brightest smile that could dazzle people from a mile away.

The door opens and Yaku's excited face immediately greets him.

"Mori-san~"

Yaku pauses a bit, trying to pinpoint something strange about the aura but then sees the goods on Lev's hands shoved forward by him.

"Geez, if you're staying over, tell me earlier next time," Yaku takes the goods from Lev's hands, letting him remove and set his shoes aside properly before wearing his own slippers tucked away whenever he stayed over at Yaku's.

"Maan~ it was cold out there,"

"Water is still warm, the towels are in the bottom drawer," Yaku informs while loading the cans of alcohol in their fridge, noticing that they had two more cans unfinished 3 days ago when Lev visited.

A rustling could be heard as the heavy footsteps of Lev vibrate lightly against the floor, making his presence known to Yaku as he strips off his beanie and scarf, "I'll be taking a shower then," he announces before Yaku hears the restroom door close, the water starting to trickle down as he discards the chicken box and puts it in a platter for re-heating.

The beeping of the rice cooker calls his attention, opening the latch as the aromatic smell of Japonica and the warm steam heats up his face before he closes the latch again. He grabs his utensil set along with a guest one, realizing that at this point it might as well be recognized as Lev's.

Sighing, he could hear the shower stop and turn between short intervals while he got the miso soup and marble potato side dishe readied, just in time to be finished once Lev leaves the shower.

He glances at his overnight bag on the living room couch and realizes that Lev probably forgot to get a change of clothing but to his surprise his boyfriend steps out of the steaming room, wiping his hair down in comfortable grey pajamas.

"I found clothes in the bottom drawer too, what a lifesaver Mori-san~" he approaches the kitchen and hooks his arms around Yaku's waist, leaning down before receiving a pinch on his nose, "You mindless idiot, what if those weren't there?" he rolls his eyes but leans his body back further on Lev's warm body, the grip on his waist tightening a bit.

"Then Mori-san would get some clothes for me wouldn't he?"

"And who's this Mori-san you speak of?" Yaku throws back at him making the tall guy chuckle. They've been trying out new ways to call each other so that 'Yaku-san' wouldn't feel so distant. "Morisuke-san is my very cute lover," Lev sets his cheek down on top of Yaku's head, "He's very petite too,"

"I will lodge this elbow between your ribs," he threatens, "I'm joking!" Lev pouts and detaches from Yaku after being nudged slightly, his natural heating pack disappearing while being beckoned to the dining room.

He carries the hot platter of chicken and sets it down the table while Yaku fixes up the rice and side meals, fixing the plate placements before they take a seat across each other and say their thanks together. "Ittadakimasu,"

Lev tears off the chicken leg from the platter while Yaku slices up the topper meat part before they start digging in,  silently scarfing down food as the long day they had taken its silent toll, not talking but enjoying each other's presence.
