Akaashi's phone buzzes as he takes off his glasses and rubs his eyes.

He stretches his arms before picking up his phone to see a picture sent to him by Bokuto.

'Me and my sisters helped in an owl sanctuary today. u could say it was owlsome,'

He slightly laughs at the text and recieves another message of Bokuto properly posing with an owl on his arm. Akaashi giggles and thinks, 'It looks just like him,'

Another text, 'Sorry, I know you're busy but look at them!!!!!!! They're so cute they look like us!!!!!'

And another picture of a horned and burrowing owl surprisingly not attacking each other.

And then another text, 'Hey hey hey, I named an owl after you,'

'Owlkashi!'

Akaashi scoffs and grimaces at his phone with a sour smile, 'Oh god another nickname, my identity is gone completely now,'

"Akaashi!" Sarukui panics and immediately runs to the poor setter. Bokuto crosses the court and immediately stretches Akaashi's leg.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt here?" he gently presses on his ankle.

"Ow ow, Bokuto-san–," he hisses before Bokuto calls for Kaori's first aid kit.

"Akaashi, I'm so sorry!" Sarukui apologizes but the setter waves it off.

"It's alright, Sarukui-san, I can have Anahori sub for me at the moment," he sweats while he was seated on the gym floor.

He suddenly feels Bokuto lift him up and place him on the bench, "Ahaashi, are you okay?" he worriedly scans his face, "I can carry you home,"

Akaashi pinches the bridge of Bokuto's nose, "I won't die, Bokuto-san, I'll be fine,"

Bokuto's hair droops and looks at Akaashi with dejected eyes. The setter feels guilt-tripped somehow and sighs. "I guess you can carry me to the infirmary,"

Apparently it's canon that Bokuto has two sisters?????? And he's the baby of the Bokuto family????? How cute!!
