"Do you want a pet babe?" Noya asks his newlywed husband as they lay in bed. Asahi loosens his man bun and puts down his glasses.

"Yeah, I mean I don't mind," Asahi smiles and opens his arms for Yū to snuggle in. The two comfortably lay in bed as Noya presses on further to snuggle.

"Why'd you suddenly ask?" 

"I mean, we just got married, so it's too early for kids," Noya looks up at him and explains. "But the house seems lonely sometimes, especially when you're out for groceries or when you're in a meeting,"

Asahi looks at his small husband with sympathy and kisses his forehead. "What kind of pet do you want then?"

"What pet do you want?"

They ask each other simultaneously before bursting into fits of giggles. "Let's say it in one.."

"..two, three, a dog,"

"A bunny," they simultaneously say.

Noya looks at the embarrassed Asahi as he covers his face. He starts laughing at his husband before placing his hands away, "Awww, Asahi baby, I never knew you liked bunnies,". Noya kisses his nose sweetly, giggling while taking his large hands, "We can get both,"

"Noya, I don't think we should put a rabbit and a dog in a room together," 

"With proper training, they could get along!" Noya pouts. Asahi was about to respond when suddenly he hears his phone's emergency notification system ring. He pivots his upper body and grabs his phone by the nightstand. 

Noya checks his' to too see an advisory regarding a lockdown on their district. He looks at Asahi worriedly but he simply smiles lovingly and caresses his cheek, "We still have adequate food, don't worry,"

"But we were planning to get pets tomorrow,"

"We'll get them soon Yu, don't worry,"

The lockdown week passed by smoothly for the Azumanes. 

Although, life as an apparel designer with constant need of meetings stressed Asahi out. He also felt sorry for his husband who currently can't travel and is cooped up in their small house all alone. 

He pulls back his chair and stretches his arms and legs. He turns to see Noya taking his 3rd nap of the day while he had a meeting again. He fixes the scattered papers around him, plans for his company's next collection all over the place as he sighs and tucks the papers in a neat folder.

He walks towards Noya, leaning and giving him a kiss, his goatee tickling Noya's cheek. The smaller man stirs and opens his eyes, smiling when he sees Asahi. He hooks his arms around his neck and bombards his husband with kisses all over his face.

Asahi giggles and lets Yu do his thing before stopping him after a few seconds have passed. He pats his arm beckoning Noya to leave the bed whilst stating, "Get dressed, we're going to pick something up," 

Yu energetically sits up and looks at Asahi with sparkling eyes, "Are we finally going out?"

"Yes yes, now go get your mask," Asahi beckons towards their dresser as he hops off the bed. Asahi smiles at the sight of his excited husband as his heart thumps. He hasn't forgotten the conversation he had with Noya and it was a good start to have a pet.

His phone buzzes and he sees a confirmation text by the kennel he inquired from. 

Noya pulls out a thick coat while Asahi prepares and gets their car ready. He couldn't help but smile to himself because it was their first step into building their family after all. He looks back to see Noya putting on his mask and shooting him an eye smile, "Let's go!"
