It was karaoke night for the Seijoh seniors, and Iwaizumi is running late.
"Geez, where'd Iwa-chan go? Did he get lost?" Oikawa furrows at his phone as Hanamaki leans on him, "Him losing his way here? Impossible."
Mattsun presses the button to start the song as the screen loads, "He was with his girlfriend a while back, I think he ditched us," he hands the microphone to Hanamaki.
Oikawa pouts, "That girl again? She's hogged Iwa-chan for a whole month, geez,"
"You jealous?" Mattsun pokes.
"Me? The great Oikawa? Never," he aggressively shakes his head.
"Sure, whatever you say cap'n"

Iwaizumi grudgingly makes his way to the karaoke place with a heavy sensation in his chest. She broke up with him, what was new. He genuinely liked her. Maybe not loved but he enjoyed her company, and they had chemistry, or so he thinks. It wasn't his first break-up rodeo but it still hurt his feelings.
He begrudgingly makes his way to their usual karaoke booth, where he could hear Oikawa and Makki shout the lyrics to 'Always Be My Baby,'
"YOU'LL ALWAYS BE MY BABEEYYY~~" Oikawa and Makki sing like drunken madmen when he suddenly sees the door open, and incomes Iwaizumi with a sad look on his face. "I-Iwa? What happened?" he immediately places down the mic and approaches the sad-looking ace.
