"Are you kidding me? He was making out with that bitch in the car?" Joe exclaimed.
"Yeah, h-he said he was sorry, but he always says that." You sobbed.
"I'm so sorry (Y/N). I don't know what's gotten into him."
"I just hate how Hilary is tearing him away from us."
"I do too." A new voice cut in. You and Joe turned towards the door to see Pete.
"What the hell are you doing here without your "soul mate"?" Joe sneered bitterly.
"I left her. I realized how Hilary was making me act and that I never even saw you guys anymore. I hate it. I just want my friends back." Pete sighed.
"I could possible forgive you, but I think it'll take (Your Nickname) a little longer." Pete looked over at you and sighed.
"I know." He grabbed your arms and pulled you over into Joe's hallway.
"I never loved her." He muttered staring you in the eyes. You didn't want to look into those big brown eyes and fall, so you focus around them. You stared at the very detail of his eyeliner.
"(Y/N)!" Pete said frustrated.
"What?" You asked softly.
"Look at me."
"I am."
"No, look me in my eyes."
"I am!"
"(Y/N), I know you. You're avoiding looking me in my eye by looking around them. That's what you do when you're in trouble or something."
"Pete, I don't care. I forgive you alright. Can I go now?"
"No, I need to fix things but I can only do it if you look at me." You gulped and looked Pete in his eyes. Your knees felt weak as you saw all the emotion in them. Pete was ready to cry and his eyes had so much stress.
"I never loved her. Only you. I've only ever loved you (Y/N)." He said softly.
"Pete stop fucking with me." You whimpered. Tears fell from your eyes.
"(Y/N), I promise it's only ever been you. I promise." Pete begged pulling you into a warm kiss. A kiss you dreamed about since you were 14. When he pulled back you cried even more hugging him.
"I'm so sorry for Hilary. I'm sorry for ignoring my feeling for you. I'm sorry for all the pain I caused." Pete cried too. You kissed him again and pulled him back into a hug.
"It's okay. I forgive you." You said softly. You felt Pete tremble in his arms and knew what you'd gotten yourself into. It was the best thing you've ever done.
