You came out of the Surgery room with two eye patches covering your eyes. You were guided by the nurse who called you in. Joe ran over to you and the nurse.
"Are you here for her?" The nurse asked.
"Yeah, I'm her roommate and boyfriend." Joe replied holding your hand.
"Good, because she's gonna have to keep those things on for the rest of the day."
"Okay, thank you." Joe led you out to your car as you didn't say a word. He put you in the passengers seat and he got behind the wheel. As he started driving, you felt Joe grab your hand.
"(Y/N), you okay?" He asked.
"I can't see anything. Of course I'm not okay." You muttered. You felt Joe kiss your hand and a slight smile made its way in your face.
"Hey, the doctor said for the rest of the day. That's only 6 hours and knowing you, you'll probably sleep through all the 6 hours." He said. You chuckled and nodded your head.
"I guess your right." You agreed. Joe parked in your driveway and guided you from the car, upstairs to your bedroom.
"Thanks for all this Joey. I really appreciate it." You sighed happily. Joe smiled and kissed your forehead.
"As nurse Trohman, I'd advise you to get your cute little butt to sleep. You need to rest your eyes." He said softly.
"Alright nurse Trohman. I wish I could see you right now." You said quietly as Joe put you under your bed covers.
"In 6 hours baby." He muttered getting into the bed with you. He pulled you to him so your head was laying on his chest.
"I love you Joe." You said thankful for him.
"I love you too (Y/N)." Joe smiled kissing the side of your head.
*8 hours later*
You and Joe ended up sleeping later than you anticipated and when you woke up, you realized the 6 hours were up.
"Joe get up! I should be able to see again." You exclaimed. Joe opened his eyes and looked at you sitting up with the two patches over your eyes.
"Yeah, let's get these things off you." He chuckled. Joe peeled off the eye patches and smiled at you. When you first saw him, everything was blurry and then he was in focus.

You jumped onto Joe and kissed him.
"I love you Joey." You said before kissing him again.
