You climbed the ladder up the white building as you heard the sounds of the busy city life. Cars zoomed by and various horn honks could be heard. You looked around to make sure it was clear and secured yourself on the roof. The sun had recently left and it took the orange tinted sky. The orange was replaced with the black sky decorated with bright stars.
"Pete?" You whisper yelled.
"Far corner!" He called back in a soft voice. You walked over to the far corner of the roof to see Pete sitting with his knees pulled to his chest.
"What's up? Is everything okay?" You asked sitting next to him.
"Yeah, I just needed someone and I wanted to sit on the roof." Pete replied. You narrowed your eyes at him.
"Why do I feel like you're not telling me the whole truth?" You asked suspiciously.
"Because you're too caring." Pete chuckled pulling you into a hug.
"Yeah, I guess I am." You and Pete just sat on the roof, watching the stars when he looked over at you.
"I like you a lot (Y/N)." He stated.
"What?" You asked.
"You're the only one who would sit on a roof with me all night just to make sure I won't do anything stupid. I really like you for that (Y/N)." You blushed and looked down.
"Well, I've liked you for a while too." You confessed. Pete looked at you and kissed you softly. You kissed back and when he pulled back, a blush was burning hot on your face.
"I love this roof." Pete smiled holding your hand.
