'Man up (Y/N)! You are a grown woman!' You scolded yourself mentally. There he was, the man of your dreams. Andrew John Hurley. He was talking to Joe about something that put a beautiful smile on his beautiful face. He was so sweet and funny, but acted so quiet around you. It could mean he wasn't interested in you, but you really just wanted to at least ask him out on a date.
"Hey there (Y/N)!" Pete yelled wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
"Pete! I told you not to scare me like that." you scolded quietly. You always were shy and nervous. It's better when you're around friends, but right now looking at Andy, you felt as if you were in a foreign country by yourself.
"Are you still staring at him?" Pete asked looking over at Andy.
"Yeah. I wanna talk to him, but I don't know how to approach him." You sighed.
"I can help with that!" Pete exclaimed. Before you could protest, you were sent flying in Andy's direction. Right before you fell, Andy's arms were wrapped around your waist.
"You okay, (Y/N)?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah." You squeaked out. Andy let go of you and you dusted yourself off.
"Joe, I need you to help me tune my bass. Follow me please." Pete said, motioning his head to you and Andy. Joe looked over at you and you silently pleaded for him to stay with your eyes. Joe understood what Pete was up to and put on a devious smile.
"Uh, sure Pete. (Y/N) can keep Andy company. Sorry And." Joe said.
"It's fine." Andy shrugged. Pete and Joe walked off chuckling. You looked down at your shoes with a blush forming on your face.
"Hey, what was that all about?" Andy asked, putting a hand on your shoulder.
"Pete wants me to ask you out." You replied without thinking. You quickly put a hand over your mouth. It was silent for about a minute when Andy spoke up.
"Well?" He asked.
"What?" You asked.
"Aren't you gonna ask me?"
"Wait, w-what?" Andy chuckled and grabbed your hand.
"(Y/N), I'd love to go out with you." He said. A smile broke out on your face. You hugged Andy and heard Pete and Joe cheering in the distance. You turned and then hugged Pete.
"Thank you." You mumbled in his neck.
"No problem." He replied, hugging back.
