Jughead's pov:

I went down to the cafeteria and got myself a burger. Their food wasn't the best but it was still good.
As I was sitting down to eat I was trying to wrap my head around the event that had happened in the last 8 hours... but one thing I knew was that I was in love with the woman that I had just witnessed give birth to a baby that wasn't even mine. I know that some people don't believe in love at first sight, and I never did, but I can't deny it now, I'm in love. And I can't let her leave, I need to be there for her and make her happy.
I looked down at my phone before picking it up and calling the head bartender, Toni.

T-"Jones? What the hell happened? All of a sudden a woman who is in labor shows up then you're gone for 7 hours"

J-"Toni, I'm at the hospital, with the girl that was in labor"

T-"What- why?"

J-"I'll explain later, but I was wondering if we needed an extra bartender?"

T-"I guess we could use one, why?"

J-"Because... this girl, I-I think I love her Toni"

T-"Jones-"

J-"Don't say anything, I'll be back soon, just try and make one of the rooms upstairs... nice, for her. Use my credit card, go buy a crib and some diapers"

T-"This is insane"

J-"Just do it"

T-(sighs)"Fine"

The line disconnected and I sighed... I was in deep now.

Betty's pov:

J-"Can I come in?"

He asked, covering his eyes.

B-"Yes" (chuckles)

He uncovered his eyes then sat down in the chair next to my bed where I was holding a sleeping Harper.

B-"I don't want to put her down"

He smiled softly at Harper and I before laying back in the chair.

B-"Hey... I'm sorry about this all, you're a legit stranger that came to my aid in a bar and stayed with me while I gave birth to my daughter"

J-"Oh don't worry about it. I've had worse encounters at that bar"

I laughed softly and we continued to small talk about random things, basically getting to know each other. Then, he brought up one of the questions I had been dreading.

J-"So do you have a place that you're staying? Or anyone that you know around here?"

B-(sighs)"Nope, It's just my little girl and me now. I guess I'll have to get a job somewhere, try and find a place"

J-"Well, I talked to my head bartender and she said that we could use an extra bartender... if you would be interested, you could stay in one of the apartments upstairs"

B-"Oh no, I-I couldn't-"

J-"Please"

I bit my lip and looked down at Harper who was just starting to opened her eyes.

B-"Okay"
